HTML - Email Link With Html Sctipting
Ok so I have the whole mailto:blah@blah.com?Subject=whatever&Body=Things to say in the body.
But what Im wondering is, is if anyone knows how to go about adding custom html in the body to that email format. This way, when you click on the email link it opens outlook or whatever you use and adds some html formatted text to the body, such as alternate email links, other links, images, background colors, etc... Cant seem to figure out if this is possible on the fly. even a simple "mailto:blah@blah.com?Subject=whatever&Body=Hello World!<br><br>How are you today? would be the start of what I am getting at but as you'll see if you test this is the breaks show up in the body. Could maybe a php script or some other server side/client side script work? Similar TutorialsI have several links on my site, all in the form of <a href="http://www.mywebsite.com">mywebsite</a> How do I need to change it such that a new instance of the browser is used in which the linked site is displayed. Hey guys, I have recently learned the "mailto:" action and whenever i try to link it to my email it always comes up with a dialog box saying "Could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not properly installed". Thank you I know how to do a basic redirect, but this is a bit more tricky. We use a CMS system to do most of our Web site but that limits me to do any html in the "head" since the programmers "locked us out." I'd like to put an html file on the root of the site to do a redirect to correct a link problem. We sent out an email with the wrong link - problem is, the link goes to a dynamic page. Thanks hey guys im after some simple help i think. i have created a .psd for a html email i wish to send. i have sliced it up to how i would like it and i created the automated html. It all show ok in all web browsers and most email clients but not outlook 2007, i know there is a lot of issues with this email client but just wondered if you guys know any way to work around it. I would like to know in the email that I send, I need the html to pick up some dynamic content from another website and when the email is being displayed, it needs to show that dynamic content I could have used iframe in the html template - but that would work on websites, but not on emails. I have my HTML page encoded, and I put Outlook on HTML mode, but when I send the email, the receiver still only gets a bunch of code, not the nice-looking HTML Layout we've worked so hard on.
