HTML - Can I Extend An Irregular Header?
still learning both photoshop and html and I'm wondering if there's a way to extend an irregularly shaped header using html? I know that my header is in a fixed resolution image so viewing the site in a higher resolution display will 'cut' it down.

And not teh ki9nd that counts down to a date or an hour or sm.. I need the kind that would produce the following effect: 1) when the visitor arrives to the site the number says 20 (example) 2) 10 minutes into his session it says 19 3) 20 minutes into his session it says 18 and so on... I am sure that can be done but I don't know how to do it. Any help is very appreciated. In IE7, some of my pages are displaying white space at the top of the page when they load. If you switch to a different tab and then switch back, they appear fine. Just the initial loading is goofy. Some pages show more than others and I cannot seem to figure out why. I am using this page to test with at this point. http://labsysgrp.com/au2.htm I detatched it from the template in DW, validated it, it passes. The problem appears to be the length of the page... I just haven't figured out what the problem is yet. It appears to place the white space at the top once the body (id="c2") section of page exceeds a certain length. As long as it does not go past that length, the page is fine. Hi, I currently have a blog which I designed using wordpress although for some reason when you view a post on IE the white background of my content doesn't extend all the way down like it should. Thanks I'm trying to design a simple html website for the company I work for but I have run into a problem. I can't figure out how to make the table extend all the way down to the bottom of the page without stretching the content. I tried adding bottommargin="0px" to the body tag but that didn't work. I also tried adding height=100% to the table tag but that stretched the content of the page. I am currently having problem with Iframe's height. here's what happen. I have a page with 2 Div. First div is the header with menu. The 2nd Div Contains 2 Iframes. The first Iframe is my title bar location, and the 2nd iframe is my content location. The menu and title bar location is fine. When I click on something from the menu bar, it changes both the title bar and the content page. I did it like this because I don't want my title bar to scroll up when my content page is longer. So here's my problem: for the 2nd Iframe which contain my content, I couldn't set the height properly so it will fill and extend to the bottom of the screen when resolution is high. Also i don't want a scroll bar to the whole website, but only to the 2nd iframe. here's an example. I made a very simple version of what is exactly my problem. Hi guys, I've done design work before, but the website I just finished is my first stab at doing html & css by myself and I just have one problem that isn't working. There is a gap a few pixels high between the top images in my header and the bottom of the header where the navigation is. This gap doesn't appear in Firefox or Safari, only IE. Okay prepare for whats probably a real dumbass question, but how do you create a website where you have a header that never changes, only the body of it changes to correspond with the users selections made from the header. I use the exact same flash header on each page in this site. Is there a way to code this so the flash header doesn't have to 'reload' each time you move to another page within the site? I'd know how to do it using iFrames, but I'd rather not use that on this site. Is there another way? It just seems useless for this flash to reload on each page you move to in the site. Cache makes things so that the reload time is super quick, but I'd like it to not have to reload at all, if possible. Maybe this is a JavaScript thing? I don't know. I am trying to obtain the header & footer html of my site. I know I'm supposed to go to VIEW SOURCE and whatnot....but then when I get there I get stuck as I do not understand this html stuff........
