HTML - Positon
Posted this on another forum but didnt notice no ones updated on there in over a year hah. So here's my problem
The flash bar shots to the bottom of the page on this page but on no others. On the others its on the side. Main page:http://bluewalrus.net/kashmir/ where it displays correctly. For example if you had a menu at the top of a page and text underneath, is there a way to make the text be read first by the web browser/ search engine spider using tables or something? thanks I'm having some trouble trying to position an advert on my site. I'm positioning it using the code <div style="position:fixed;top:25px;left:62px;">AD CODE</div> It positions perfectly (as I wanted) in firefox, but not in Internet Explorer (I know that the 'fixed' property doesn't work in anything under IE7 but I have IE8 and it still isn't working yet I've seen fixed divs work in IE8. The site is http://www.dragonrust.org and i'm trying to position the long advert to fit inside the box on the striped background (as seen in Firefox). Any ideas on how to resolve this problem - if it is not resolvable, please let me know too. |
