HTML - Problems Displaying Flash Animation

Hey, not sure where to put this but im wanting to make a website with so movies of animation clips that i have made except i need some advice on animation, what is the best program/software to use to make animations, should i use 2d animation or 3d, is 3d animation easy.

Hello all, I have a bunch of rollover buttons on a page which I would love to sequentially animate so that when the page loads they rollover one at a time in a loop prior to any actual mouseover event. Other than making each button an animated .gif (and increasing the size of the image!) is there a way to script an event that will do the image flips?

there are several things I would like to happen.
1. the right collumn background to be where the right collumn should be(so other links in navbar)
2.The test between the roach pictures to be alligned with the top rather than bottom of pictures (so smaller windows can see)
3. When you size the window smaller than the text, a scroll bar appears, and when you scroll the background no longer exists. If I put it on auto the background will only go as far as the text does.
4. (nice but not required)The cocroachs to be alligned to the left and right of the top bar respectively, and the text in the middle.
5. (nice but not required) the right column background image is being cut in half (as does the top one if you size small enough). any way to make the images ignore the collumns?

Im making a site for a client and we've hit a dead end one one thing i particular

The whole site we've made is HTML and Images only. The only flash element is the Navigation bar at the top. With out making 2 dedicated flash/non flash sites,
how do we make it so that if flash is not detected on the viewers computer then the flash navigation will not show, but instead show a java script rollover nav bar?

I was thinking maybe have the flash nav in a div that floats over the image nav, and if flash is not detected it would disappear...?

help would be super appreciated.

I've just published my first flash site, which is a schoolproject.
I have this little problem: my site won't center in the popup so i get this white border in top and left site while some of my site is missing in right and bottom.. you can see it he http://www.rtgkom.dk/~caspers06/ click on anotherDepth.

The code highlighted red comes in on my div as a box with a small x.
So its detected to be there but some how doesnt pick up the content of the (swf.).

And I have to be honest I really don't know much about html at all.... I use it for my website and band myspace layout. This is for a photographers myspace. But I would greatlly apprecieate it if someone could please explain to me what I should put there I would worship you...

Does anyone know the code (HTML) that will play Flash in both Explorer and Firefox?

Now is it matter if I have flash 9 and AS3 in the flash or not do i need to change somthing in the code I just paste here?

In IE7, 6, and 5 and only in IE7, 6, and 5 my flash navigation menu jumps around a little bit from page to page (no more than half of an inch or so per page, minor, but irritating). Probably an easy fix, but how? Do I need to wrap in a div first or should I just apply the rule to the td with an ID? And, should I use absolute positioning, relative, or neither? And I know I know navigation menu not good - I am working on text links for the bottom.

I am currently having trouble embedding my flash file into html. No matter what I try it will not work. I don't have much experience in html so could really use some help please.

I'm making a website that has a flash header that serves as a menu bar. I use the exact same flash header on each page in this site.

Is there a way to code this so the flash header doesn't have to 'reload' each time you move to another page within the site? I'd know how to do it using iFrames, but I'd rather not use that on this site. Is there another way? It just seems useless for this flash to reload on each page you move to in the site. Cache makes things so that the reload time is super quick, but I'd like it to not have to reload at all, if possible.

Maybe this is a JavaScript thing? I don't know. So, if this thread isn't place appropriately, I apologize.

Anyhow, thanks in advance for any advice or help.

for some reason there is a page on my site that will not load its flash >
it will load it when i browse to that page on the computer hosting it (this one)
but it wont load on any other computer, including one i have on LAN (inside a router)
can anyone tell me why and how to fix this?

i do have flash files on my homepage of my site, but this particular flash wont load
its just a white box

Hey guys, I just built a flash site with a lot of text/img content and I was really careful to make it all xml-based so that it would be easy to edit later.

Now I want to create a very very simple backend cms for my client so that they can modify the content as well. Really, just simple html forms will be fine.

What is the simplest way to modify xml data via html? Can I post data to the server in xml format?
