Hello Folks I want to be able to anchor to not only a different page, this is a simple link, but I also want to be able to go to a specific point on that new page from the original hyper link... Example; I am viewing on page "A," on my site and I want to set a link on page "A" to take me to page "B" to the word "Widget." On page "B" I have the word "Widget" 2/3rds the way down the page. I want to go further than just to the top of page "B," I want my SAME link from page "A" to take me to the word "Widget" that is near the bottom of the page "B" all in the same link. (One click) I understand I am going to need to set code at each word, this is a lot of work and this is OK.. I currently convert images to html by using fireworks to slice up td backgrounds. and then position elements on an overall table with invisible image spacers. This is very time consuming.. I am looking for an easier way to convert images to html. Is there a program that will let me accomplish this easier? I dont want to use invisible images any more. I'm looking for a routine or function that allows for floating popups when the pointer is placed over a hot spot on a client-side image map. Currently there are plenty of sources for code out there that show a popup when floating over a text URL or an IMG URL, but when putting a mouse pointer over an image map the same code does not work. Even when declaring the image map an OBJECT rather than just a basic <img>. So essentially, I want the mouse to hover over an image map, and then have a small pop up of an image show up. I have a program which constantly checks for new pricing data from an exchange and then writes this data to a mysql table. I would like to build a website which will display this data and be up to date. Ideally any new data would be 'pushed' and immediately reflected on the website but I would also settle for a slightly less ideal solution if it's significantly easier to implement. I would like to know if it's possible to link informations located in an html file into another html that would be displayed on a web page. I'll explain my situation: I'm managing a simulated hockey league and the simulator I'm using generates after each simulation many html files that contains infos about standings, injurues, etc... What I would like to do is to, rather than putting buttons on my main websites to access the plain black&white html file, take the info inside these html and put them directly on a better web site interface, all this automatically. In a way that I only have to code once my main webpage so it can read my generated html files (that always keep the same file name) and updates my nicely designed web page each time I put newer htmls on my web ftp. After many trials and errors I found the problem to be the W3C DTD Code. But in Firefox (At least on my Mac, can't get Firefox to download on the PC oddly), the webpage loads with the flash getting pushed up really high and into the header, also the entire flash part is significantly smaller.
