HTML - Does Anyone Have A Code To Enable User Uploads?
Hi, i'm making a website for sim city 2000 (yes I know this is an old game) and I wanted to know if anyone has an html code that would enable user uploads so that I could allow users on my site to upload their cities and tile sets?
If someone has the code I would greatly apprecieate it if they would share it with me. thanks. I previewed my page in my web browser (IE8). I was trying to overlay text on a graphic. It looked perfect. Then I uploaded it to my server and went to my website (again in IE8). This happens when you have JavaScript running in the page. Also with Flash it's now required to click the Flash control to enable it. I've got a form called 'register_form1' on my website and, at first, the submit button is disabled (whether with disabled="true" or with a short javascript mybutton.disabled='true'). After inputing text in a few input areas, I would like the button to enable. And that is done by a short javascript. But, when submiting, the POST array is empty... $name, $username, $date are null strings (I suppose). the php file ....: PHP Code: <?php $name = $_POST['inputname']; echo($name); .................. and so on ?> On the other hand, if the button is enabled and never disabled, the POST method works. I've also tried the following: I changed the type of the button to 'button', not to 'submit', and then, when it was enabled, at a given moment (onClick event), I called myForm.submit(). I am using the right frame to allow users to click links to remote sites browsable within the mainFrame. However, most of these sites require cookies and keep opening links in a new window. Is there a way to enable 3rd party cookies within frames, and to also disable links within the mainFrame from opening in a new window? p.s. All I'm doing right now is writing my code in text edit, saving it as "test.html", and dragging and dropping the file onto Safari/Firefox to view my code. Everything works when I'm at my college's computer lab, but when I'm on my own mac notebook, the files load in the browser as my code. Thanks! cordelia hello, I'm having a little trouble trying to find a solution, maybe I'm just searching the wrong key words as ive spent a hours trying to work this out, what I'm after is a way that once I have created a website, I can add some form of coding or software that allows the website owner/end user to change the content or add pictures easily with out the need to have any knowledge in HTML etc. I know this should be possible as many website company's offer this service and it's also used on the web site building software offered by most hosting providers.
