HTML - Link Html Info Automatically In Real Time Into Maine Web Page

Hey guys,

I'm kinda new to HTML/CSS. I am making a website in Dreamweaver 8. I'm having trouble doing something, and I don't even know if it is possible. I made a page using CSS and DIV tags to define each pane. Now the center (main) pane will show whatever page you want to display (ie. Home, Media, Contact, etc.). I made each page as a separate HTML file (ie. Home.html, Contact.html, Media.html, etc.), is there a way to link each of these pages to the main pane (div tag) so I can keep all other panes unchanged (menus, banner, etc.) and just display the content in the mentioned center pane? Thanks!

I want to send an email from an aweber list that includes a link for the user to download a file from my website. However, I don't want users to know the actual address(directory) where my file exists on the server).

Right now when the user clicks on the link it automatically takes them to the address where the file exists and opens the file in a web page.

How can I code the link so when the user clicks on the link it will automatically open a dialog box for them to save the file to their pc?

I am having trouble with the following site here and the weather image at the bottom not being to the correct size. The image is hotlinked from another site, and I do have permission to do this! The image is automatically generated by scripts on that sites server every 5 minutes with new weather information.

As my image has to always be a certain size and I suspect the original image located on the other website changes it's size as the weather updates, I clearly have a problem with pixel ratio's and an often unclear image...

Thus, I would much rather scrap using the image and simply have the raw-text in this image on my site. If you look at the source for the site here, there is this piece of code:

Now, the details above (last reading, temperature, etc) obviously change every 5 minutes too. How can I link a page on my website to these above changing details on another website and then format the text to my styles and use only the text which I need (around half of what is above?

I hope I have made my dillema clear .

I am in good contact with that sites webmaster therefore once I find a good method for doing this I will of course ask the webmaster for his permission again .

How to link one page to another page in HTML?

Hi there! I'm in the process of designing my first website, so I'm pretty green at this. I will have a number of internal and external hyperlinks links on my pages that I want to apply to rollover images. I have created the rollover images in Photoshop with slices, URLs etc. That all went fine, but here's my problem. When I save the image in Photoshop, the tutorial tells me to save the image as "HTML and images". This produces an image file and an associated HTML file that contains the script information for the actual image file. I can't figure out how to create an <A hef...> link or whatever is needed in my main HTML file that will get this "image" html file to show up in the browser and to call the rollover image so it works on mouseover. I've tried a number of options, but none seem to work. I assume that I need an <IMG SRC...> in there somewhere to call the image?? Any help on this would be awesome as I'm about to lose it over this one. Thanks!

After a user uploads a file he is automatically logged-out and re-directed to "destination" web page. Then the user can only select the Home link and re-directs himself to the home page. What code can I add to the "destination" web page (code below) that will automatically (in the background) move the user automatically from the "destination" page to the Home Page?

(if you suggest I re-direct straight from the upload to Home Page, I'd rather go to destination page and then to home page)

I'm building a website for a Rock Band. They have a FORTHCOMING GIGS page, and a GIG HISTORY page. Can anyone tell me how, when the date changes, the information is deleted from the FORTHCOMING GIGS page, and then appears on the GIG HISTORY page. I know that this can be done automatically, I just don't know how. I think it might be a php script.

How in HTML can you force a webpage to scroll down to a certain point of the page when the page loads up. Is this possible in HTML.

Once it does scroll down to the certain point, I still want to be able to scroll up and down AFTER it has loaded up...is this possible.

I NEED help on getting a form to automatically post to a page on my website.

So, i'm making a class website, right, and I need my teacher to be able to post stuff on a page and have it erase what was already on there (every week). My teacher does not know html, so I would like to have a text box automatically edit the page, I am a medium web designer... but I do not know ANYTHING about this, I have searched EVERYWHERE and couldn't find ANYTHING. It got so annoying that I gave up for about 6 months... until today, which is why I'm asking this. By the way, I would also like "Contact us" forms to go directly to my email, WITHOUT any CRAPPY websites (like the one I'm using now) any help would be very appreciated!!

I have a site which runs off a couple of templates and what i need to do is add some code into one of the ditable regions so that it will pic up the Page title and drop it in the body off the page.

e.g. the page title is 'Monkey23' and i require 'Monkey23' to automatically show up in the Body of the page. I have hundreds of pages all with different titles and therefore manual titling is not an option.

Anyone got any awesome code to help me?

this should not be hard if im not mistaken I would just change the text for it to type in the html file, the website does not need to be opned aswell when the html file is launched

I want to create this website, using the mailto tag, the user will input the info in the text boxes then click on the submit button and mail the information to what ever email I specify in the mailto tag(is that correct, can malto do that?). But I want to take it a step further and the email in the textbox the user filled out it would be sent email about more information on what they came to the website for, can this be done in html? if so how, hopefully this made sense to everyone.

when the user clicks on the button it calls some javascript which shows a div (not relevant!!). is there a way so that you click on the same button again it calls some different javascript e.g. hide() ?? I know about onFocus, onBlur etc but this is not what i need.

Below is the current code I have. I havent coded in html for 6 years. Can someone either add or show me how to add a submit button that emails the info on that page to my email. I have been asked by a friend to build him a website, and right now I am a total faliure. I also need a reset button on the site that clears the info in the boxes.
