HTML - Insert And Display On Main Page Script?

Hi Guys really hope you can help

I have a site which runs off a couple of templates and what i need to do is add some code into one of the ditable regions so that it will pic up the Page title and drop it in the body off the page.

e.g. the page title is 'Monkey23' and i require 'Monkey23' to automatically show up in the Body of the page. I have hundreds of pages all with different titles and therefore manual titling is not an option.

Anyone got any awesome code to help me?

Im making a site at the mo and im looking to keep the menu and a picture stay in the same position constantly. So when then user moves the scoll wheel only the text are will scroll. I dont want there to be any border or scroll bars around the text, so the only visable scroll bar will be the browsers... any ideas?

Ok, This might be a bit confusing but ill try my best.

On my main website homepage i have a splash image which when clicked redirects to the main website,

also in another folder i have a phpbb3 Forum.

Below the image on my homepage i have a login box for the forum as well.

What i would like to do is to hide that login box unless a keyword is entered before hand, and make the domain.com/forum URL inaccessible unless you login through this route. basically hiding the forum completely so people dont actually know its there.

I could do this through .htaccess however i was hoping there was a "cleaner" way to do this.

Hi guys,

Is there a way I can have a page of links sat in a directory which I can call from via other pages on the server? I think I'm thinking of something that can be done with PHP, but the idea is:

On main page, for example, links:

3

All call to 'links.html'

Which has a list of page URL's, each with their own ID. So the links on the main page call to the ID's, which extracts the link listed at that moment in time. So if I later want to change the link, I have only to change the link.html and not every related link on the site.

I know I could maybe use inline frames, but the layout I have makes that not possible, and it's still not a great solution.

I'm sure someone must know what I'm talking about. Sorry if it sounds confusing!

I am using the following script to pull in an RSS Feed into my website.

2. Is there a way of not using iframe? Can I use <Object> or <embed>? How?

I'm designing an auxiliary site for a spirits company and it requires an age check page. I've created the page and saved it as lda.html. It functions properly but how do I insert it before the index.html without changing the url of the original index? Thanks for the help.

My problem is the following: i would integer in a page of my website the data from a xml page of another website. i try to integer this sport ranking in my site : http://www.lffs.org/Page/PA4G_Class.xml).

The use of an iframe is a solution. but the style of this table isn't suitable. In other words, i try to extract the date of the table and insert it in another table to which i can apply a css-sheet.

Is-it possible?

I have an avactis website. I want to manually add a passphrase page infront of the website. I would prefer to do this outside of avactis.

I have the code to make the login (which is encrypted in the source). How do I add a page with the passphrase code infront of the webpage so that when you type in the domain name, it redirects to the home.

Anyway, I am working on a new project, a rather adventurous and something out of my comfort zone one at that

The website I am working on can be seen currently at it's development address -

(Please note that most links, buttons, etc. do not work or are dead as it is of course, a development in it's early stages.)

Anyway, my question is, is there a script or something else that would allow me to enter in a number of divs', and every time the page is reloaded, it will choose a random, or systematic, one to display?

What I want to do, is if you notice on the home page of the website linked to above, below the large text under the flash banner, there is a quote-

I would like to have a number of different quotes to be displayed there when the page is reloaded.

i'm a bit confused..

it always worked, that i uplaoded the hml code as a new web page in the ftp web tool... (without even name it to .html at the end of the site name...)

How can I make that the webpage which i uploaded is diplayed as the actual webpage (and not shown the html code instead) WITHOUT have to add .html to the url???

Example:

url.com/contact --> shows only html code
url.com/contact.html --> shows correct site

but if u access any site... you usually never have to add .html to the url:

e.g.: www.mtv.com/music

I need some help. I created a website in adobe dreamworks a while ago. I have added another link to a html file hosted on my website, but it doesn't work in IE and works fine in Chrome and Firefox. the link works, but not the whole page loads

Hi, I don't really know html, I have messed around with it and looked at some scripts; I have some understanding of a couple of langauges, but... lets say I'm a beginer. So...
I have a website which is designed with WYSIWYG Web Builder and plan to do more advanced things with it. One of the things I plan to do is put a popup for a poll I have created on my hompage. But so users dont get annoyed by the popup everytime they visit I need a Check box; and when ticked sets a cookie to stop the popup coming up.
Seen as I'm new to html code I would like the full code/script and maybe instructions please!

Our organization's webpage was created in Dreamweaver, with some additional javascript and html code added by an intrepid staff member with just enough knowledge to be dangerous.

The page displays properly in Internet Explorer and Firefox for Windows, as well as Firefox and Netscape for Mac. However, the page displays a white screen in Safari. The page is loading, because the page title displays, and it is possible to view the source code for the page using the "View --> View Source" menu option. But none of the page content shows up. I did not find any relevant help in the Safari forums on the apple page, so I'm wondering if this is a simple coding problem that I don't know enough to ferret out. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
