HTML - Html Page Withot Save Option

While browsing I encountered with some of html pages which are not saved on PC, How its happening, any example is appreciable... Thanks all ... Similar TutorialsHi This is my first post. I have created a html page using vbscript. It is basically a timesheet to capture start and stop time of activities throughout a day. I have included drop-down boxes to select the activities and a command button which is used to enter time on clicking it. The file resides on an users machine and after it is opened the user can select the activity and enter the start and stop time. I just need a way to save this resulting HTML page onto some location. Note: The user has no access to applications like Word, Excel, Outlook etc. Thanks Pani I was hoping someone could clue me in as to whether or not this would be possible. I'm thinking it isn't but I need to make sure. I'd like to provide a file for people to download on my website, but when they click on the link and the download window appears I don't want them to have the option of opening it. Is it possible to only give them the option to save the file? Sounds incredibly unlikely but I gotta know. Hi ya, is there any program that will download a .asp web site convert it to .html and relink? i can't find anything... currently i'm saving each .asp as html in IE as complete web page, i don't mind doing this but how can i automatically change all the links to point to local copy instead of www? and change all folders containing images to only one folder with images? p.s. i can't install IIS (can't find disk) so i can't open .asp files on my home computer XP Pro.. thanks.. Good afternoon, I have a program that I am writing in HTML and Javascript. Here is what I want to do. I have a menu that goes to multiple pages. When I get to a certain page, I want a variable set that when I return to the menu, I can use that variable to display a check mark. I need to keep the functionality simple, so I can't use ASP or write to cookies. I have two ideas on what to do, but none of them worked. 1) To use a .js file. I can get the .js file to hold the variable on just the page that called it, but when I go to another page and access the .js file, I lose the variable. 2) To use frames, where I pass the variable dynamically to one frame and so I can access it later. I don't know what to do. I've tried using a combo of the above ideas, but nothing has worked. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Hi guys i just joined and hope to learn a lot from this forum! Ok, My question is if there is a HTML code to save an image as a different image. To help explain better I want to embed an original artwork image on my myspace page. I have seen other artist do this same thing where they have embedded and image onto their page and if someone uses the Right click>Save image as... to try to save that image they get a whole different image than the one they wanted to save. For example: Say you wanted to save this image and after you use the Right click> save image as... and open up the file you just saved You get this Scripts don't work with myspace so i would like to know if there is a HTML code that does this. I am using HTML and ASP together and so I need a first name variable and a last name variable from a DB2 table to be passed as well as show up together as one value in the drop-down box I have created (i.e. John Doe). Hi, I need a dropdown menu where I can assign a different link to each option (and when the option is chosen that link is opened in the same window), it should be as simple as possible so it works on the majority of browsers and doesn't get blocked by various utilities that block java/scripting and all that stuff... I have a basic page, when the page loads I want people to see the top of the page for a few seconds while a flash starts to load but then I want the page to scroll down a bit so the visitor can see the flash load progress status. It's been a good 6 years since i have worked on a website. My biggest accomplishment so far was getting the contact form to work properly on the site. It does, i feel like i've done alot lol. Anyway, the current design is a rough layout (suggestions are welcome). It still needs a lot of little touches to make it look more "full". My biggest concern now is when your clicking from page to page the table jumps around. In firefox, the Contact Us and Services page are perfect, nice and centered. The image i'm using where the navigation buttons are is in place as well. When you go to the other pages though the table moves a bit and it looks like the image i'm using where the navigation buttons are starts to repeat. In Internet Exploder, everything doesn't look centered. There seems to be more space on the right than on the left, but the image i'm using for the navigation buttons seems to be fine, it's not repeating. I dunno what's causing this. I know different browsers display stuff in different ways but i'm far from having a good understanding as to why (that's why i'm here). I even copied txt from one of the messed up pages and pasted it on one of the pages that is ok and that didn't work. I assume it's a CSS thing. Also, try and avoid saying things like "Table designs are for teh n00bz!11!" or "This is why CSS is better than using a table design!!!". This is how i did it. Im ok with CSS but i don't have a thorough understanding of it to design an entire website using CSS. I'm hoping this is an easy CSS fix, or maybe something else? The website is www.gocleantoday.com.
