HTML - Html Page To Disable Scrollbars On Load

In a webpage, I have a link to a photo:
<a target="_blank" href="myURL">
where myURL just points to a jpg image.

When the jpg is presented, I'd like right clicks to be disabled. Is there a way to do this?

I don't want right clicks disabled on the main page, just the target jpg.

Hello (this may sound like a confusing post),
I have a website that I recently created, and am having some trouble with newly updated pages loading.

I had the site set up and finalized, and I uploaded it through my ftp program. The site works fine, then I was instructed to change certain pages.

Since I changed certain pages, I have to now refresh each page I go on in order to see the new updated pages (since I already viewed the page on my computer, and it's set in my cookies).

I know that I can delete the cookies on my own computer, but I want people who don't know how to do that who have already viewed the webpage, to be able to come back to the site and automatically see the page updates.

So in a nutshell - all I want to know is if there is a code I can place in my html that will make it so my site is not stored in anyones cookies.

I'm just trying to disable an HTML code (a link) in a scroll box. I've become frusturated after Googling it and searching it here with no luck. I've tried the <text area> thing and the &lt; or whatever thing with no luck. I would love some help.

I created a training/FAQ/general information website at work and now I'm trying to take the website a step further, both aesthetically and functionally. I don't have a lot of formal training in web page design or coding, so please forgive me ahead of time for my lack of knowledge.

I have noticed that when some users view the website on their computer that their zoom or text settings take precedence over my code. Is the fix for this as simple as defining the text size or are there additional steps that I need to take to ensure that the text doesn't resize and my tables/menus don't run off of the visible page?

Here's some quick info about my site:

- It's essentially a series of documents viewed in a browser (calling it a web page, in the traditional sense, feels like I'm lying since there's no URL & no server).

- It's entirely client side scripting...HTML and Javascript, with some external CSS markup. I don't have the resources or permissions to use PHP or ASP or anything like that since I'm not a computer administrator.

- The only browsers being used are IE 6.0 and 7.0

I have a text fields and i want to display there a record of my database.

the problem is that my sql record is not plain text,but has html formating.

So when i display the data to the text field, it changes the appearance of my web page!!
i have to find a way to display that html text as plain text and not as html code!
can anybody help me please?

As of right now I have it such that when a navigation link is clicked it loads a whole new page. How can I do this such that only the "main text" area (which sits inside a table) is loaded?

This is an unusual one, but I have converted two Excel files into HTML files, and I also have a HTML page with some information on. I have a live of code which controls the auto refresh of each page.

Is there any way that I can set this so that when the page refreshes, it loads a different page.

The pages are part of a display screen that will show stats and info.

I would like to set it so all three pages rotate/change every minute or so.

either link for the spheres opens a shadowbox.

the sphere on the right shows the issue the best

the page that loads is the issue.

this problem was around before recent shadowbox upgrade.

there is a submit box that i have used code to have the box clear when clicked.

when the page loads, it ensures that the submit box is visible.

this causes the page to autoscroll down so the box is visible.

is there an approach so this does not happen?

I have a little problem here.. should you visit my site using IE (don't myself ) it will start loading then randomly say "Cannot open <webpage>". This is very irritating. Does anyone know why this is? Has it happened to anyone else? For the moment, I have put up a temporary home, but the old one is here for you to see. It works on Firefox when the user agent is changed, so it is a IE-specific problem.

OK so i'm new at all this but can't seem to find out how to do this. I'm working on a site that has daily schedules for clubs. For example if someone clicks on "Downtown" and today is Thursday, then i want all the thursday listings to pop up.
So how would I make the page that corresponds to whatever day it is load from a single link

I have created a page that has a number of images on it as well as a large flash file.

I have a little image that comes up while the flash file is loading so that is ok, but the problem is I'd like to specify the order in which item on the page load because the flash file is stopping the rest of the page loading properly. Do you know what I mean?

For example i'd like my header to load first and the other images and when they are finished loading then the flash file can start.

I'm sure I have read it somewhere before but cant find it anywhere.

Every other problem ive had has been solved here so I know someone will have the answer!
