I was posting in a forum on another site, the person helping me got swamped with work and I need this done tonight..

He helped me put links on different parts of my banner, and then he sent me the attachment (that I attached below). I opened it in Adobe Contribute CS4 but I can't figure out how to publish it to get the changes he made onto my blog.. I tried just copying the html and putting it into my blog myself but I'm a nub and that's not working either.

Please help! I'm willing to pay, donate to your site/blog, whatever to get this done today!

I started up a blog recently and used an already made up template. I've altered it a bit to my tastes (still kept all previous credit obviously) but i'm having a hard time putting in a right sidebar in the HTML code.
There's already a left sidebar and the main content body but i'm wanting to add a right sidebar to this to balance out the layout.
I've tried copying the same html code of the left and altering it to make it right but it doesn't seem to work.

If theres anyone that can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated.

If anyone wants to see the blog layout and/or html code as present then please do ask.

I recently joined a company, having used HTML before, and the previous employee who created and updated the site left, I have been given the responsibility.

I want to integrate a blog onto the website on it's own page which will be able to archive the blogs monthly, and allow people to make comments on the blog posts.

Is there coding out there to do this? or what is the easiest way to do it. Any advice would be great. the website is.

I do not have a clue about HTML or anything about it, im a poker player and have a poker blog in process of being created and would like to ask if given the user name and password of the google account for blogspot would someone from the fourms quicly do it for me ive gave 2 examples the 1st example is the 3 tier blog of a friend of mine:

That is a 3 tier blog, all you have to do is simply log into my google account and edit the HTML to 3 tier.

Which is currently set to 2 tier, the only way to change it is using HTML id appriciate someones help very much, if you could email me on hairybellly@live.co.uk or message me back on this id gladly send my login details.

How do you make html show up on the front page of a blog but not on any others?

I have an advertiser who wants his text ad to show on the front page of my blog, but not on any others. I've never had that request before and don't know how to do it. Can anyone help me?

Hello (I am new to these forums, hope this post will be satisfactory),

I have a question and would appreciate any help, here it is:

I am building a website that has a blog (from google's blogger service) within one HTML frame. I'm looking for a way to program the site so that the blog-frame only displays a certain number of words / characters despite the amount of characters in the blog post, before it then interevenes with a "READ MORE" link which will then take the user to the full blog post.

Does anybody know if this is possible and do they have any suggestions as to how I could go about this?

Hey i recently opened a blogged and wanted to begin customizing it with shoutboxs , games, etc

Blog is runned by Mac OSx , it allows u to post html as well, but 98% of the html codes i put in there doesnt work...the ones that do work , well they seem to have <table> inserted in them...and strangly one of my posting options is to insert a table, so when i click on that *insert table* i paste my html code(shoutbox) and click insert (for table) and all the codes seem to work fine and shoutbox looks great, until i cllick the <>(htmlm mod) everything seems to go back to where it was before i started testing with table (which is that it doesnt work), this is only if switch from normal to html and back after i insert html codes through table...but if i just paste the Html codes for the shoutbox into *HTML* section, it shows up as the link that i use to gernate these codes...this happens with every one of my html codes including the ones that do work for the blog and dont work for the blog....So im stuck with HTML codes that only show up when the *insert table dialog box pops up and i insert html from there to blog.(which cancels html codes in the end)..From the table with the successful HTML, if i click Save,HTML mode, or Preview, it just makes the codes void..I think that when iclick any of those commands, the blog messes with codes

Does anyone know any great codes to bypass w/e the blog is doing to my codes or simulating the table forever with the codes? TY

Friend said that blog has ScriptTags, and by using table i can bypass that...Unfortunatly ive tried inserting <table> and </table> around it...nothing works..

I am still new to HTML coding.
I come from the dark side (flash)
and am seeing the light

anyway I am building a "flash alt" site
and I am building it around the Cargocollective.com platform.
and I DESPERATELY need a HTML or JAVA or some other iphone / ipad friendly
music player for the site.

I have been searching for weeks but all I keep finding are the same flash plugs
that make the whole concept redundant.

any help, guidance, or advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated....

so i need help with this .. what i want to accomplish is have everything with a width of 750px and each item to go after one another .. i thought a table would make that happen but it doesn't seem like it does .. on some previews it shows that it goes straight downward, but i think on larger resolutions it doesn't.

i'm using this for ebay and it's showing up like this



which isn't how i want it to look like. can someone help?

I have a problem pulling external vbscript into an html template. I have various .vbs files written in vbscript, in a function library. Each .vbs file contains many functions that do a variety of things. Every function is documented with the following format;
'Function Name
''Purpose
'Date
'Author
etc...
What I need to do is create an html template and populate the template with the formatted documentation only from each of the functions. Unfortunately, this isn't as easy as using src=filename.vbs because I'm trying to access the documentation only....not the script itself.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Problem #1
The dimensions of the blog image thumbnails are compressed on the x axis with word wrap set to the right side of the image on the main/index page. When you click on the html link that takes you to the full blog page the image is displayed OK. Do you have a suggestion on how to correct the image size displayed in the thumbnail mode?

Problem #2
Video screen on right side bar of main page is cropped so can't see full video. I think it is preventing the viewer from access link to Vimeo site.

Problem #3
Reduce left margin to maybe 10 or 15 pixels

Problem #4
Can the Gallery delay rate be slowed by approx. 1 sec
