HTML - Page Jumps On Mozilla
Hi, I am trying to build my daughter's website on geocities and for the videos section I am trying to use page jumps DIVs. I am using mozilla and everytime I go on it the page jumps and the DIVs is all mess up and I don't know what's wrong with it then I tried going on internet explore and my codes worked on there but just not on mozilla. Does anybody know what I can do or change? I am currently using the basic html DIVs and page jumps.

My biggest accomplishment so far was getting the contact form to work properly on the site. It does, i feel like i've done alot lol. Anyway, the current design is a rough layout (suggestions are welcome). It still needs a lot of little touches to make it look more "full". My biggest concern now is when your clicking from page to page the table jumps around. In firefox, the Contact Us and Services page are perfect, nice and centered. The image i'm using where the navigation buttons are is in place as well. When you go to the other pages though the table moves a bit and it looks like the image i'm using where the navigation buttons are starts to repeat. In Internet Exploder, everything doesn't look centered. There seems to be more space on the right than on the left, but the image i'm using for the navigation buttons seems to be fine, it's not repeating. I dunno what's causing this. I know different browsers display stuff in different ways but i'm far from having a good understanding as to why (that's why i'm here). I even copied txt from one of the messed up pages and pasted it on one of the pages that is ok and that didn't work. I assume it's a CSS thing. Also, try and avoid saying things like "Table designs are for teh n00bz!11!" or "This is why CSS is better than using a table design!!!". This is how i did it. Im ok with CSS but i don't have a thorough understanding of it to design an entire website using CSS. I'm hoping this is an easy CSS fix, or maybe something else? The website is www.gocleantoday.com. Thanks. Hello, I'm experiencing a small but annoying problem. My html form works fine when the submit button is an "ugly grey button" (input type=button), but when I try changing the button to show a nice jpg (input type=image) the form still submits ok, but the page always jumps to the top. This is annoying, because people should be able to scroll down through the page, click the button, and continue scrolling down to the next button. I created a site for a hair salon and every time the page loads for the first time, it jumps from right to left. Does anyone know why it is doing this? There is an example link below. But the same documetn when seen in Mozilla FireFox or Opera is showing Tetracycline Capsules and Tablets and Pronunciation in same lines without any space between them. Can anyone let me know why this is hapenning? But I can't find it, it was so easy, and I was able to use it, and believe me, there's not much I CAN use It was a simple editor tool, and I think it was from Mozilla. That's what it did: I wrote something in HTML, and when I pressed preview he showed me what will display when I add the code on a website. And I was able to save my codes as a file format, but I don't know which, I think something standard... And now I want that tool again, but I searched for 2 hours now and I can't find it... Does ANYONE know the name? I would be very pleased about a helpful answer... Or does anyone know a tool which does, what I described? A simple tool? ______________________________ CuddlyBunny AkA Nico Hey, I've downloaded a template to use for my webpage and i changed up the width of the middle section (in grey) within the css, it views perfectly in mozilla, but when viewed in IE it's as if i didn't widen the width of the middle section at all and as a result the text and images i have put in the area are compacted. Does anyone have any ideas of how i can get IE to view my site the same as mozilla is? Mozilla is displaying the site as i want it too look. I have a page that has a couple of iframes in it. when I view the page in firefox they show perfectly fine, however when viewed with IE one loads but the second one only shows a blank white page. I have two different pages that are designed like this. They look fine in firefox 1.5. IE gives me nothing. Hello everyone. Great website! I have been trying to fix a problem with my menu in mozilla. Everything seems perfect in internet explorer so does anyone mind having a look and maybe tell me how to fix it. It is the first website i have built apart from a 1 pager once. If i give you the web address, look at it in IE then go through the menu, then do the same with mozilla if you don't mind. In mozilla when you mouse over the menu it covers half the menu and there is a border thingymijig. You'll see when you have a look. The website is for our local football team, and it is nowhere near finished but i would really like this problem sorted. I just need to know how I can eliminate most of my inconsistency problems, i.e. pages not looking the same in terms of fonts, alignment etc. across multiple browsers.
