HTML - Forms Issue In Ie7/possibly Ie6
Hello,
I am trying this forum for some help. I have tried other sites and no one has yet come up with an idea for what might be the problem or suggest a solution. I have a search form on the site. In IE only when the user types in data and presses enter the values don't get passed. They are forced to press the button manually to trigger the search. Has anyone come across this issue and know a way to get it to work? I would like to avoid use of javascript in this case. The site is http://www.medicine-garden.com.au. I was wondering how i can make a php varible fit into a large text box of the form. i have my code as this echo"<form>"; echo "<input type='text' READONLY value='$postmsg' name='$postmsg' "; echo "</form>"; yea its in php ..the ouput is that the varible is in a single line but i need it to be in a large scrolling box help plz?? thx Hey Guys, I am having an issue where the only logical way I can see this being done, is with nested forms, which I know aren't allowed, and are breaking my design in IE. Here's the concept: I have a gallery of images that a user is managing (like 12 images are displayed on each page). Each image has a checkbox associated with it that the user can check and then at the bottom of the page the user can move all checked images to another folder. Therefore, all images and their checkbox's, along with the "move to folder" selection menu and submit button at the bottom are contained into one big form. Now within this form I have the option for users to move individual images. Each image has a select menu of folders and submit button that they can use to move a individual image. This therefore requires another form, just for this select menu (since I only want the action to be applied to this specific image and it's select input, and all others also have the same select input name, etc) and a submit button. The page=support calls support.php located in the web root. Hi, I'm using swfobject.js to rope in a piece of flash onto the top of my page. I'm then using a fixed width div (below the div with the contained swf) with a background image. I'm trying to get the swf and background image to merge seamlessly, but so far no cigar. It's just a .jpg file, nothing special, and it's on the page as a regular image tag right at the top of the Body tag. Am I missing some little Firefox quirk here or something? I have all the fields I need; Name, City etc..But I don't quite understand how to make the "Submit" and "Reset" button work. Hello and thank you for having such a good resource for html online. I am trying to accomplish something and am not sure how to go about doing it. What I need to do is have a box that has multiple check boxes with I guess you can call them responses next to them. When the boxes are checked, I would like to be able to have a next button, that would bring me to another set of check boxes and of course answers. At the end of all of this, I would like to have whatever was checked put into a box at the end, that could be copy and pasted into another document. I am basically trying to make a function at my job easier. I have seen it done before, but am not sure what it would be called. I need a form that makes one line with a button and a text box, the button should say "URL" and the text box should show the URL of a site. When you click the button it should highlight the URL in the text box. On the next line, another button that says "Image", and the text box has the URL of an image I have posted in my blog. Currently i am using a code that is simply if this is typed it goes to this page. As the list of serial numbers grows the list becomes larger and larger.
