HTML - Problem With Table In Link In Ie Only
Hi all,
I am a beginner. I was curious if anyone knew how to set up a link/button that copies a table to the clipboard??? Hi On my site, I have a menu on the left hand side. When the mouse is over each option, the inner part of the table turns blue. Once you click on the text inside the mini table-button, it takes you to where you want to go. I would like it so that when you click on any part of the table-button it takes you to where you want to go, instead of having to pin-point the cursor to the text. If you try on my site, I'm sure you will see what I mean. (regardless of how many columns there are). I recently made a rollover menu, and though the text does highlight when I roll over the cell, the link only works if I rollover the word is the cell. And I choose Html tables for this as my domain is not supporting PHP, so I thought of doing this by using HTML Layout tables. And my question is in the left menu If I click the hyperlink I want to display some other page only in the center body, how to do this If I use normal hyperlink it is occupying the total page but I want it to be display only on the Center of the table. How to do this. I appreciate your efforts, Thanks in Advance. Im having an issue in some browsers with making a whole cell in a table a link. I have simplified my code to that below for ease of troubleshooting here. Using the code below, and assuming you have two image files named AlphaThumb.jpg (approx 80x100 px) and Alpha.jpg (A larger version of AlphaThumb.jpg) in a folder with the html and css files I achieve the desired result in IE7, IE8 & in Lunascape6 (Ver 6.3.4). However Firefox (Ver 3.6.13), Safari (Ver 5.0.3) & Opera (Ver 11.00) all have the same issue, in that the link doesn't work. If anyone has any ideas I'd be grateful for some input. I tried to make an easy static site, without any additional thingd, but it occured a problem. 1. I mean, as I put table in table because I did know how to to id in different way, to make buttons on the left stay up while text on the right is moving- if I do normal table with 2columns and on the left lets say 5rows for buttons, on the right I unite all rows to make one big sort of box for contents, as I go down and try to write something morre, the rows from the letf were enlarging too If the size of explorer or firefox is nor full screen, the text in contents is going away (like now in lycos server, where screen is not full, but "cut" by advertise) 2. I have highlighted buttons, but not always works, why? (i mean it works, but darker buttons are charging so slow- maybe it is so because i saved them in pgn instead in gif, and each one is about 50kb?) -probably it is not this- because I have just changed into gif, and it is still the same 3. Another problem, as I post the site, I have notice, that in firefox I can not navigate with buttons, while in explorer yes, is it a fault of my coding, or of server where I put website? The links are in the footer section I am having problem with links creation. Please have a look at http://www.outsourcingi.com/articles.php you will see there are two link bars one is at top and other one is on left side. now if i click on a link it get disappeared same is the case of top links. When I click on the hyperlink the new window opens and says "done" but the PDF file does not open automatically. "Right-click and save target as" works, though. I tried linking PDF file without the form field and worked fine. Definitely something to do with the form on pdf file. Could anybody give me some help? Hey, im making a portfolio site and i am linking my images except when i link them i get a small blue border around it whihc moves it down a bit and it looks outta place i was wondeirng is there anyway to take this border out or not plz help. heres what it looks like be4 and after.
