HTML - A Go To Button Or Drop Down
I have a long list of dealers in the United States, is there such a thing as some kind of drop menu that a user could just find the state and then just click it to go to it.
or should I just list all the states and have them hyper link to them. I thought there would be something cooler out there. All that I can find online are tutorials with scripts for re-directing to other pages, but this does not need to be that dynamic. My guess is that this will require something along the lines of: Code: <select> <option value="#services">Services</option> <option value="#products">Products</option> </select> Where each option points to a link within the page. This being the case, there should not need to be a submit button either - anyone know how to achieve this? Hai everybody.. I want to create a html drop down menu. Thanks Greetings All - I've been here before and plan on being around a lot more as I've bitten off a little bit more than I can chew with overhauling my school district's website. Thanks for all the help you offer! I've got the page at http://joomla.ridgway.k12.co.us looking pretty good but for some reason the sub level navigation for About Us and Secondary disappear before I can get to a link. I believe this is a focus problem, but in my efforts I can't fix it. Can someone point me in the direction where I could fix this? Thanks for your time. Right...I'm in the process of creating a sample website, which takes in date data and number data...and I was wondering...as I have the option of using drop downs or textboxes....if the site does go onto a server...would it be easier (as the developer) to use drop downs or text inboxes..? I mean..when it comes to the user choosing things using the drop down or inputting into the textbox..and sending it to search in a database...which would be easier to play around with..and less complicated..? *thinks Am I making sense?* Hi all, I can't for the life of me get the submenus to work. Here is my basic code and style sheet. How and where do I get a sub menu working on the navigation to display when you hover over it. I.E. hovering over 'News' displays sub menu of 'today', 'tomorrow'... is it possible to get a drop down menu which then has tick boxs next to each category for multiple selection? Hi, i have a drop down box in a table with a bunch of project names, but some of them are pretty long. The drop down is taking up all the screen space. Is there a way to shorten the box, so you click on the drop down, look at the full names, and when you've selected one it shows only part of it, say the first 10 letters? Thanks! |
