HTML - Html Input To File Help
Hello there,
I have one question for you. How do you input data to file using plain html (or maybe java if necessary). I have a website in a free server, which won't let me use php and mysql (I wouldn't post here if it would ) I need to make a newsletter with a single option, just to input your email address, everything else will be handled manualy. I suppose it's either impossible or it's the most primitive script ever So, any help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance. The file uploader.php does nothing, it is blank, I'm merely trying to establish communication. Once again, the code functions in IE and Safari so I dont think this is PHP related. I have a project written in ASP.NET under Visual Studio 2005 with C#. I am also using Infragistics objects for .NET Advantage 2007. In my page to attach resources to a record I have written a browser and am displaying previously chosen resources here. But when I click the upload button the page opens a new window (which is not a dialog window, but a normal one) which is exactly the same as my dialog window. How can this possibly happen? I would like to have the values saved as an input file for a python script that resides on the server. I would like the input file to be created and then the script executed and the output appear as a new page. I have googled this and have come up empty. Can someone point me in the right direction. I need a simple solution (in fact nothing more than a form that sends data to my email when OK is clicked) for my website. It should be like: --------------------- Enter your name: Enter your email: Enter your mobile number (optional): Select your product:[drop-down list] Quantity: Select delivery method:[drop-down list] OK --------------------- Then thereafter the information is sent to my email. There'll be a pop up if there are blanks other than the mobile number (or we can completely ignore that if this is not possible) and returns to the page instead of sending. Is this possible? I tried iframe and was displeased with the results, I want the size of the frame to change dynamically and not just scroll. Fair warning, my knowledge of JavaScript is non-existent >_> . Basically, I have a document written in HTML (please don't suggest a wholesale re-write, that's simply not practical) and the idea is to have one file where it makes sense to include it several times. One thing to mention, this document is not meant to be shown on a web-server, but in a browser while you're reading it off your hard-drive. Thanks for your help, nonamezz. Hi everone! This is really confusing me a lot.. I have a form in my contact.html page which has labels, inputs, a textarea, & a submit button.. I can see no problem with the submit button, but with the ids of the inputs as well as the textarea, the id keeps adding 0 at the end.. Could anyone help me about this? I thought of a number of things: 1- this could be because the name & the id of the input are the same, so maybe they have to be different & that's why this leading zero comes up automatically everytime. 2- this might affect my php code later. Is it true?? Hi all, I have a text input field, and I would like it to autocomplete from a list. For example the input field is for cities, and when the user types 'lon' I want it to automatically show a list of cities that have lon in the beginning of it's name, or if there are no others for it to autocomplete for the user. Hi guys, I am working on a site and one of the pages has a weird issue. Sometimes, you cannot click in to: First name: Last name: E-mail: Phone : It is weird, as it usually affects 2 fields at a time and appears to happen randomly.
