HTML - Input Forms And Variables
Hey all,
I want to have code that will take a user to a site that they specify. For example: John puts 'google' in the input box. The form will then send him to www.google.com. So whatever SITENAME is it goes to www.<whatever it is>.com Any help please? Will I need JavaScript? I would like a drop down menu that lists options like this: Small Shirt - $15.00 Medium Shirt- $20.00 From whatever option is chosen, I need to register both the name(item_name) and price(amount) values with two different fields, like this: input type=hidden name="item_name" value="Small Shirt" input type=hidden name ="amount" value="15.00" Any suggestions? Hi everone! This is really confusing me a lot.. I have a form in my contact.html page which has labels, inputs, a textarea, & a submit button.. I can see no problem with the submit button, but with the ids of the inputs as well as the textarea, the id keeps adding 0 at the end.. Could anyone help me about this? I thought of a number of things: 1- this could be because the name & the id of the input are the same, so maybe they have to be different & that's why this leading zero comes up automatically everytime. 2- this might affect my php code later. Daralis Ok so here is my issue, i am new to web site design and i have a simple project i would like to work on. I am looking to have an entry box with a simple submit button, then i would like the submissions to be displayed below in the order they are submitted. I would also like to limit the number of submissions that show on the page at a given time by creating multiple pages that can be viewed. This seems like a very simple issue but im having trouble finding solutions on the web. Would inserting a java app or some other secondary tool be better? What I want to do is make it so that when somebody types something into a text feild and presses 'sumbit', whatever they typed in will appear in a specific place on the page. I need a form that makes one line with a button and a text box, the button should say "URL" and the text box should show the URL of a site. When you click the button it should highlight the URL in the text box. On the next line, another button that says "Image", and the text box has the URL of an image I have posted in my blog. Thanks Hi can anyone help me I set up a website for a friend and added a form so clients could fill it in and make appointments. For some reason it doesn't seem to work properly. It works from my partners laptop and the main pc but on my laptop nothing happens , after clicking submit the form does not send . I now want to do it so i use a dropdown box and when someone selects a style they like it calls a CSS theme and puts it into the head of the page.
