HTML - Want To Have My Iframe Have My Hompage In It Before I Click And Buttons.
Hi everyone. I am working on a website and it is turning out good so far. I made an iframe and menu buttons that all work fine with it. My question is that when i first load my site the iframe area is blank till i click my "home page" button. Is there anyway to put my home page in the iframe right from the get-go before i have to click the home page button? and still have the other menu buttons functional? Thanks.
Similar TutorialsOverview User will visit the site, that has a default iframe on load that displays in on the page. The below div i'm using to null their ability to navigate the base page *excluding the iframe Code: <div id="popupMask0" class="popupMask" style="z-index: 2001; display: block; height: 600px; width: 100%; top: 0px; left: 0px;"> </div> So the user is looking at a page that has a user agreement in the iframe. if they click "NO", they are re-directed to a page that says they cannot view the site due to not agreeing to the terms page. If they click "YES", they are taken to a terms of use page, also contained in the iframe with the masked div over the main page. Once on the terms page, if they click "NO", they are re-directed to a page that says they cannot view the site due to not agreeing to the 2nd terms page. If they click "YES", the iframe disapears and the masked DIV disapears. The user will have the ability to click links and objects on the base page at this time. Goal Need to have a user agreement page, and term page display before allowing users to login to a site. This is the cleanest way that i can think of for the restrictions i need to work around. All viewers will be using IE, so no need to be cross-browser friendly. screen shots attached Hi Guys, Just need a little help with my IFrame page. I have a basic layout page with the banner up the top, and my buttons running down the left hand side of the page. The rest of the page is an "IFRAME" to an external page. Basically the site im building is putting in a webcart wich has been outsourced. So you get all the cart stuff and you just have to build your site around it and embed it in a site. So anyway to my question, I need to link the buttons on the Index.html page to a page in the IFRAME page, then the user isnt reloading the same page with different main content just that iframe. Is there actually anyway of doing this? or am i just stuck creating different pages? Im also using dreamweaver 8 if this is any help. Thanks i'm using 6 iframes in a page my page has scrolling whlie i click a link on top most iframe the page has been slide down the scroll bar comes to middle plz help me hi, i've a very simple html page, where i have an iframe. The problem is that i want to add some text below the iframe. however, my text keeps showing up on the right hand side of the iframe. i've looked at the tutorials discussing the tags available for iframe, but surprisingly, none seem to relevant to this. Code: <html> <body> <table border="0" cellspacing="10"> <table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" align="left"> <td valign="top"> <iframe src="mySource.jsp" height="700" width="600" frameborder="0" scrolling="auto"></iframe> </td> </table> This should be displayed below the iframe but actually gets displayed on the right </body> </html> any help / guidance in this will be much appreciated. thanks in advance! I have 2 IFrames on a page. I am going to end up with a long list of shows to catch-up on. Is there a way I can embed an IFrame with the list, and when you click on a show, you it will change the Playing Show http://tiny.cc/catchup <---The page I am referring to. Now here is my problem. I'm not familiar with other laguages then html and a little bit of javascript and I wanted to make a site for me and my brothers photography company. I currently using dreamweaver and have figured out the way I want to make this site. I tried using ordinary frames, but I want the website to be aligned in the middle and I could make that happen. That is why I went into iframes and a regular table on the index page. My problem now is that I have several iFrames and I want a link from one to open in another. http://www.trans4mind.com/personal_d...e/iframes3.htm here is a link for this to happen, and the simple solution is to name the frame and then target the link. but I have tried that and when the link is from one iframe to another it won't work. If the link is on the index page and target the iframe then it works. Do you have any idea why this happens? I know it's possible since the link above does it. Hi! I've been cracking my head trying to solve this: How can I insert a iframe [i.e. 300x200px] inside of another iframe [i.e. 700x500px] and pull different web content n each one? kind of concentric iframes or like a 'Donut iframe' I would like to use images as links in my nav bar and im looking for a tutorial or some help with how to make the buttons change when diffrent actions are taken.. eg link visited hover active but i dont know how to change the properties of the link, if anyone can point me in the direction on how to do this either in CSS or in each web page i would be verry grateful i have looked around and havent been able to find anything I've played around with this code but it seems as if I can't get the buttons to appear. Is this related to the script type? Anyone know how I can fix this? I've decided to add Google search to my website. However, I can't get the submit button to look right. Rather than the button appearing as shown in the photo directly below, it comes up looking like the button in the second photo below. I know this is a minor detail, but it's really bugging me and I can't figure out what's going on. Even if I go directly to Googles website, copy the source code, and paste it directly into my HTML editor (Frontpage 2003) the button still comes up looking like the one in the second picture. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Tim www.corvette-restoration.com Ok, ive made the background i want to use on photoshop and im using freewebs for now just to host my website. And if so, do I use some sort of identifyer in header or can I put it in the document? Hello, I am using a loop to dynamically generate buttons using the <button> tag. The value for this button is populated using a variable. When I click on one of these buttons, I want the content of the button to be displayed on the text field. But, because it is in a loop and the because the value is a variable only the value of the 1st button comes in and then disappears from the text field. The javascript I am trying out to populate the text field is : function passButtonValue() { poitem= document.getElementById("poitem"); hiddenField = document.getElementById("hiddenField"); hiddenField.value = poitem.innerHTML; } I am using ABAP for getting the values and running the loop How can I reprogram it to overcome this problem? Thanks! |
