When user selects 2nd radio button(r2) a table(t2) is displayed in place of t1. Every thing is working fine.Problem is when user selects radio button2 and if he refreshes page table t1 is being displayed with r2 checked this is where I am Placing problem. Can anyone resolve this issue and give a suggestion how to display table belong to corresponding clicked radio button even after page refresh. I have a live of code which controls the auto refresh of each page. Is there any way that I can set this so that when the page refreshes, it loads a different page. The pages are part of a display screen that will show stats and info. I would like to set it so all three pages rotate/change every minute or so. Can anyone please help me do this? I do not know how to go about doing this. Thank you. So I've got this .png file that's being updated and re-saved every second or so (its a graph of time vs temperature) and I'm trying to look at the damn thing on a browser. I've got the REFRESH thingy reloading the page every 5 seconds or so, but it'll only display the graph that it opens on (not the one that reflects the last couple of seconds). If I actually go and hit the reload button (I'm on Safari) the current graph'll come up, and then (this is weird) the next time the page refreshes it'll actually pull up that current graph, but all further refresh cycles don't do anything...what's going on here? Oh, here's the page source: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/loose.dtd"> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <meta http-equiv="Pragma" content="no-cache"> <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="5; URL=file:///Users/Shared/Sites/temperature/index.html" > <meta http-equiv="CACHE-CONTROL" content="NO-CACHE"> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://steck.us/gen_style.css"> <title>Web Thermocouple 1 Monitor</title> </head> <body> <h3 align="center"> Reflow Toaster Temperature Vs. Unfortunately because of ip issues I can't post any code. The basic problem is that I tell a table that I it to have height: 100% and it won't do it. Sometimes (not always) the table renders in such a way such that it is less than 100%. <table><tr><td><table class="gimme_some_height_already">...blah blah</table> Here's the annoying part. The problem is intermittent and goes away every time when I hit refresh under Firefox. Why should the page render differently just because I hit refresh? Also, when the table doesn't render properly, the links don't work. I have standard, nothing special <a> links inside the table. When the table is misrendered and I click on a link, instead of transferring to that page, the table just gets bigger! It's as if the table were in a very delicate state, and if someone touched or sneezed on it the whole page would move and rerender. Very strange. None of this happens under IE. I know that many people think that when IE and Firefox disagree that I ought to go with what Firefox says, but really hitting the refresh buttons shouldn't make the page look different. Does anyone know what is going on, and perhaps how I could go about fixing it? I've tried many variations, trial and error combinations and dirty tricks. hi guys, i have a site that is updated regularly but everytime i update it, i go to the site and i have to hit refresh. how do i make it so that you dont have to do this? do i have to clear cookies or something? thanks in advance. sam I have a form where a select list can be updated by clicking 'update' next to it. When this is clicked I would ideally like just that to be updated, but I do not think this is possible. I was thinking of having two form actions, one that submits the form as usuall, but one that submits the form somewhere else, depending on which submit button is clicked. If I could have two submit buttons, I could use one to submit the form back to the same script, with the script re-filling the form elements that where filled out, and the select box would then update. So, my main question is...... Is there a javascript submit function that can change the destination of the form? Perhaps this should be in the javascript section! Hi guys, I'm working on a project which requires an HTML page to be updated regularly, say every 10 seconds. however its not the whole page i need to refresh but rather a section of it. that section in question is a table that has status icons within. those status Icons receive values from a server and update accordingly. the following code corresponds to those images you see in the attachment. HTML Code: <td width="100" style="TEXT-ALIGN:center" onclick="showNFailDialog('{IP_ID}','{ZONE_ID}','{GROUP_ID}');"> <IMG style="WIDTH:24px;HEIGHT:22px;CURSOR:hand" class="ZState NFail" name="disp" alt="Zone {ZONE_ID}" src="../../Icons/circle_cancel.png" eis="name:{IP_ID}.{ZONE_ID}.{GROUP_ID}.Alarm;type:1;virtual:1;img0:/Icons/circle_green.png;img1:/Icons/circle_red.png;"> </td> this line basically says value 0 shows green, value 1 shows red.. img0:/Icons/circle_green.png;img1:/Icons/circle_red.png Is there a way I can insert some code into the image section that makes the image refresh every so often but without refreshing the whole page/table your help is greatly appreciated Hi, Iam generating a html page which creates popup windows on onload event, and data is written to html. When i refresh the initial html page, the data in the popupwindow is duplicating Is there any way to recreate the popup windows without data duplication? i tried using target_new but there new popup windows are created. Below is the html code : Code: <html> <script language="javascript"> var text=new Array(); text[0]='1'; text[1]='2'; text[2]='3'; text[3]='4'; function poponload(count) { alert('here'+count); var testwindow; for(var i=0;i<count;i++) { testwindow= window.open ("", "window"+i,"location=1,status=1,scrollbars=1,width=100,height=100",bgcolor="pink") alert('text[i]'+text[i]); testwindow.document.write(text[i]); testwindow.moveTo(i,0); } } </script> <head> <title>test</title> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> </head> <body bgcolor=#F535AA" onLoad="poponload(4)"> <form name=test1 method="post" action="test2" > </form> </body> </html> Kindly guide, Thanks in advance, arv Hi all, I'm having this website www.justmarch.nl When surfing directly to this site, a black screen is presented, after an F5 it's loaded correctly. Is this caused because for some reason there's a missing document type declaration? Thanx in advance for any help! Reference: http://www.noahscs.com/realestate.html So the entire form on this page is within an iframe. The iframe should refresh itself upon submit. It works fine in IE, but does not refresh in FF. Anyone have any ideas why? |
