Hello everyone I formatted my MySpace contact table just like I wanted it, but there's a white bar above it that I can't figure out how to remove. If you highlight that bar, you see that it says "Contacting EcoAware" (put there even on regular default contact tables). The text is white on a white background-- I don't want the text OR the empty space there. Any suggestions? BTW, below is a link to a text file with the exact HTML I'm using. Any help would be really appreciated Thanks, Cody HTML code MySpace page Hi I'm trying to divide two tables in Myspcace Everything i've tried hasn't worked Heres the code I'm using (it is placed in the 'music' section) <tr><td valign="top" align="left"> <div style="width: 300px; height: 350px; overflow: auto; padding: 0px;"> <font color="DDDDDD">Divide this table<font> <tr><td><div style="width: 300px; height: 350px; overflow: auto; padding: 0px;"> <font color="DDDDDD">From this table</font> Thanks for your help Hello, Here is the site I am having difficulty with. http://mysite.verizon.net/ekafrawy/Modern/index.html If you view this page in FF, the formatting is fine, but when you view it in IE, the spacing on the left nav bar is not right. I will if I have to but I would rather not. below is a paragraph on my website: Rebuttal – They fail to mention that any taxes/bond use to buy Golden State Water Company will result in a reduction in water rates far in excess of any tax. See details in the Summary Flyer..... I want the the next line to go under the the word "They" (the first word after rebuttal) so the word rebuttal is just off on the left by itself. Here is the code of the paragraph: <strong>Rebuttal</strong> – They fail to mention that any taxes/bond use to buy Golden State Water Company will result in a reduction in water rates far in excess of any tax.... Any tag(s) can be used inside is the second <td></td> Any suggestions? Thanks Code: <table> <tr> <td><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br></td> </tr> <tr> <td> abc def </td> </tr> </table> I just have a small formatting issue, that I think is being caused by a dreamweaver template I created, that I need some quick help with. Under the main banner is a space that I want to get rid of, but I can't figure out what's causing it. In my template, the editable area starts with the div right under the banner... so I'm thinking somewhere in there is my issue. I've added a number of elements in the immunization row, however I can't seem to figure out how to line up the Compliant? and Exempt? rows with the above immunizatiion rows. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks, John Hi I wonder can anyone help with this problem I'm having. I have created a two column table with images in the left column and bulleted text in the right column. I have six images one after the other down the page. This displayed perfectly in firefox but when I checked Internet Explorer, The text is greatly indented from the table cell margin and looks all wrong. Can I format this somehow to display properly in IE. I have several fieldsets contained as elements within a table, all in the same row. Some fieldsets have more fields than others, which makes them taller. The shorter fieldsets "shrink wrap" themselves, which makes the row look non-uniform. Can I format things so every fieldset border is the height of the largest in the row? Hi: I have a long table (613 rows) with two columns (Containing Names, Addresses, Lot Numbers, and Phone Numbers, etc. I would like to format the cells of each column so that certtain fields (e.g., Phone Number is in a certain position in each cell). For example, I'd like this phone number to be right-aligned in the second row of each cell, etc Is there a standard, or easy way to do this ?? Thank for any help offered. -Mel Smith Hello all, I would like to add a basic table to my webpage, it's within < div > tags. Unfortunately, the table looses all formatting. I have tried collapsing the border for table and td and nothing works. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, S This should be a pretty easy one, I think that I've just been staring at this for too long. The question is, why is the first row in this table so tall? I am expecting it to be around 400px tall, but it's about 950px. HTML Code: <html> <head> <style> table.container{ width: 1400px; } table.subcontainer{ border: 1px solid #000; text-align: center; width: 100%; } td.container{ background: #DDD; line-height: 4px; vertical-align: top; } </style> </head> <body> <table class="container"> <tr> <td class="container" rowspan="2" width="200"><table class="subcontainer"> <tr> <td height="1000">Toolbar<br />1000 x 200</td> </tr> </table></td> <td class="container" width="400" rowspan="2"><table class="subcontainer"> <tr> <td height="200">400 x 200</td> </tr> </table><br /> <table class="subcontainer"> <tr> <td height="400">400 x 400</td> </tr> </table><br /> <table class="subcontainer"> <tr> <td height="400">400 x 400</td> </tr> </table></td> <td class="container" colspan="2" width="800"><table class="subcontainer"> <tr> <td height="400">800 x 400</td> </tr> </table></td> </tr> <tr> <td class="container" width="400"><table class="subcontainer"> <tr> <td>400 x 200</td> </tr> </table></td> <td class="container" width="400"><table class="subcontainer"> <tr> <td>400 x 200</td> </tr> </table></td> </tr> </table> </body> </html> I think I've totally given up on this, but thought I still pick all of your brains. I'm working with a CMS that has hardcoded tables so that even when you have border="0", a border still shows up on the live page. It's absolutely driving me nuts. Here's what I'm aiming at: I want to place 5 photos going down the right-hand side of the page. The only way I have figured out how to do this is through a table, but the border shows and makes the entire page look like crap. Any other ideas on how I can accomplish this? Thanks! |
