HTML - Need Simple Background Code

Hello there.

I have a question regarding a simple html table code I made.
My problem is, that when using it at livejournal.com as a profile layout, it shows up like this:




BUT when I open it with FireFox it looks like this, and this is way it is supossed to look like:

Where is the error? I cant seem to find it, nor the reason why it shows up so differently when using it on livejournal.

Hello, i would like a code that would allow one user at a time to enter ONE word into a box and submit, once its submitted the word is put on the page, in order so it creates a sort of story.

I have an MP3 that is available to be played when the index page is loaded - users choice - works great. My situation is that I would like to have some text displayed over the activex control. The control and the text should always be displayed in the CENTER of the page, with the text (something like "Our Theme") tightly displayed & centered over top.

I figured it is either extremely simple, or impossible. My current EMBED SRC is shown below.

I have a link on my homepage to another page of mine but I don't want the spiders to follow the link and index that page and the pages in it.

Is there a simple way to fix this? I've heard of a "No Follow" thing but not sure if thats what I need or how to write it.

I want to put two different images in my background. one on the left and one on the right. and i would like it to be fixed. can someone help me with the code? i can only get one background image.

I am using the coding below to add color and an image to my background. I have seen the codes to center my background and to fix it so it does not move, however, I do not know where to put that code in relation to the code below?

I need to have a color background and non-repeating fixed background image.

Hi guys,

I have on my webhost a ton of pictures and I would like to be able to go to that directory...

xxx.com/photos

...and have a page display all the files located in that directory just in a list....then be able to click on them so it displays. Just a file list basically. eg:
pic1.jpeg
pic2.jpeg
etc

Is there a simple code to allow me to do this?

First I want to say sorry if this is in the wrong place. I foud this forum and needed help badly.
I am using sitebuilder and have discovered from this site a scroll box code which works great! But, there are some things I want to add to it. First, I want to make scroll box have a background color. I want it to be black. How do I do that?
Also, can I change the color of the scroll? How do I do that.

In the areas where it says, for example ="show('Goodnight')", how do I add HTML code in the brackets but as normal text? At the moment it is trying to read it as HTML code but I want it to be displayed as text. How would I accomplish this. It is probably pretty simple but I am a bit of a noob

Hello everyone

I have run into a roadblock. I am trying to make a background image scale properly with Internet Explorer. I have successfully made the image fit the web browser right, using this code in a CSS class. The code I am using is as written:

this code makes the background I am using work correctly in Internet Explorer. However, when I use this code, it makes the rest of the website stop working. I can no longer click on any of the links on the page, or anything of the sort. However, all my styles for the links still remain on the page. Any suggestions?
