HTML - Is There A Way To Change All Fonts/all Backgrounds In Fp2003/with Html?
Hi.
I'm a FP/html/website builder noob. Is there a way to change all fonts/all backgrounds in FP2003/with html? e.g. Is there an easy way to change all fonts in headers, text areas, tables etc from one font to another. Thanks. Similar TutorialsHi, I would like to know exactly how do I specify a font and a color for specific head line or titles in a text using HTML. For example what code should I use if I wan't an Italian Cursive, 16th Century font light gray color as a headline. I'm really not using Dreamweaver, I've done everything with HTML, but if you consider it's easier to use CSS, would you tell me how is it done? Thanks a lot. I made a email signature, i used dreamweaver to make it. Looks good when i preview it. But when i add it to email as signature it doesn't show colors or the correct font. I dunno why? Can someone look at source code of my html and see if i made a mistake. Thanx http://users.bigpond.net.au/sublimecreatures/email.html To briefly explain what is happening.... I can hover over my links on my index.html page. Click any of them which directs me to the proper page... but any remaining licks change to the same as first previously clicked link and stays there Wierd. Therfore clicking does nothing at this point. I can refresh to the index page again and everthing is back to normal. I can hover over any link I want but if I click it it will go to the correct page , but then the remaining link all change to that one. Is the a problem with my html or css file? Thanks Hi there, After moving some webpages around with Expression Web, all my HTML is now on one line for each page! Is there a tool, website or some way of changing all the text back to something like: <tag> content </tag> <another tag> something else </you get the idea...> Thanks! Hi people, I just built a web site with a design made in photoshop, so when I saved it as gift and html everything fine, but when I made the code over the <head> for Xhtml all my images and stuff were distorted. Thanks for your help Regards Paul Weinstock First off I want to say that I'm new to this forum. Thanks in advance for the help you can give to a noobie. Here's the "dummy page" I put up: http://www.mrcrepe.com/work.html The table I made in dreamweaver. I put it as 900px wide with 1 row and 2 columns. The border color I made a redish/pinkish color as you can see on the outsides, but how do I make that "separater border" into the same color? Right now it's just that silver line. Thanks in advance. -Brian hi all, One strange issue with html <a> tags.We have XP English and Japanese machines and issue is getting only in XP Japanese machines. I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice on some goof looking fonts I can use in my HTML documents. I would like to hear some suggestions on fonts that look good when they are small like 8pt. I'm use Verdana and it looks good for the most part, but I see some websites where they have small bold fonts that look good. Some examples I was looking at were target.com, sears.com etc... I would appreciate any ideas. Thanks soak digital did a great helping me! thanks! (sorry for the added post, i had a question but i answered it myself. D'OH!) when i add more information to my background it gets lower... then if i move this info up the page the empty background space stays there how do i get rid of this empty space at the bottom of my page? ive tryeed using both html and css codes but the problem stays the same someone PLEASE HELP Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to have more than one background to a certain element in a page. ie. I have an element called main so within <div class="main"></div> Can i have two backgrounds, and can one of these only ever appear at the bottom as a sort of footer section? Thanks for any help, I've seen it done, but probably not in html. Every time the page is reloaded, the background colour within certain areas of the page will change to one of a series of pre-set colours. Usually this is all background divs or table cells that have been earmarked for this colour change, but how on earth do you set that up in html? Any ideas? I am srahasan. I have faced some problem with manually change the encoding of the HTML files to US or Western ASCII. pls any one help me about this matter. thnx in advance. srahsan Hi, It's the first time I'm using custom fonts on a site, wondering why these rows don't work in Internet Explorer? I have a problem with my webpage, only occuring when I am surfing with Firefox. I have an identic code on two different pages, but on one of them the letters look normal, on the other one they are suddenly messed up. At the pictures it can be seen. I have no clue why it is happening... can anyone help? The text is good at for example: http://www.hungarybudapestguide.com/restaurants/ - but if I go in to read about whatever restaurant later described the texts are messed up in Firefox as seen on the picture. How come? My main background for my website is a jpg image. Once it ends, it repeats itself; the problem with this, is that it interferes with some text I have on the page when the image repeats. Is there a way that I can have two backgrounds? After the first ends, I would like to put another background image for further down the page. So I am thinking something like this: <body background = "image.jpg" > SITE STUFF GOES HERE </body> <body background = "image2.jpg"> MORE SITE STUFF </body> </html> But it's not working. Any ideas? THanks (I am super new to this, sorry if this is a stupid question) I'm going to be building a website, and instead of adding color to the background of the page, I'm going to add an image of a scene. How can I add it so that the image does not scroll but the content does. I've seen it done in the past. Thank you. Hi y'all. Could anyone tell me if it's possible or, even better, supply the code for this. I want to create tables on a page with a semitransparent background so the underlying backgrounds shows through. To do this I've used the following code: <style> table, tr, td { background-color:transparent; border:none; border-width:0;} body { background-image:url('background_image_url'); background-attachment: fixed; background-position:center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border-color:000000; border-width:5px ; border-style: solid; } table table { border: 0px } table table table table{border:0px} table table table { border-style:solid; border-width:3px; border-color:000000; background-color:transparent; } table table table td { background-color: FFFFFF; filter:alpha(opacity=50); -moz-opacity:0.50; opacity:0.50; -khtml-opacity:0.50; } table table table table td {filter:none;} </style> My problem is that the text and images in the tables also go semitransparent. Is there anything I can add to the to make the text and images clearer against the table background? Alrighty, I've got div backgrounds that aren't showing up! Some are showing in ie but not in firefox, and some aren't showing anywhere. Here is a screenshot of what I'm experiencing (IE is on the left, firefox on the right) Also, the light blue background around the top nav. should be behind the page content as well (meaning the crappy "multi-monitor mounts" image and the crappier "featured products" text) any help would be appreciated!
