HTML - Html Banner Help
i have made a one page site for a mate, but what ever i try i can not get the banner to show up, can anyone help me and tell me what i have done wrong please, heres the link to the site.

I have made text in HTML saying Home, About (and the other buttons) And I have placed it over the buttons on the jpg banner. But now I need to know how to make a box around the text, so anywhere in the box is clickable, rather than just the actual text. Then I can just make the links transparent and Im set! I am a noob... A pic for those confused..... probably all of you : ( i know its not looking great but im still only designing it) http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/t402...17/pic.jpg I know I could just enlarge the text so it fits the buttons on the picture, but then I would have to change the margins and stuff again and there must be an easier way to do it and I want to learn how. Help will be appreciated PS: If you look at the pic, you'll see the dark grey div. If possible, I would like to know how to get rid of that space between the div and banner. Thanks I was posting in a forum on another site, the person helping me got swamped with work and I need this done tonight.. He helped me put links on different parts of my banner, and then he sent me the attachment (that I attached below). I opened it in Adobe Contribute CS4 but I can't figure out how to publish it to get the changes he made onto my blog.. I tried just copying the html and putting it into my blog myself but I'm a nub and that's not working either. Please help! see anything particularly wrong, but the banner and my menu aint hang together in IE, it is about 10 pixels from each other, they sit perfectly with each other browsers, it is only Internet Explorer there the menu and the banner does not hang together. With those settings, the banner lines up perfectly when viewed on my Powerbook G4. But now, on my new iMac with a wider screen resolution, the further or shorter the browser is stretched, that banner seems to be too elastic and does not stay perfectly above the menu bar. It seems to be an overlay over the main background image with a degree of transparency, is this done in the html, the css or something? If you browse the site you'll see the same throughout and I am sure it is being done on the fly - each image has not had the banner added in photoshop or similar. Any feedback would be appreciated.
