HTML - Form Action Color Change?
Hey guys. This is my coding, below, for a form on my site. It's just the default white color (and is too bright for my site's color scheme). Is there any way I can change the color to grey or something else??

Thanks in advance! Geetha hi all how do i change color for this code its for php tags Code: echo 'Not bad, you scored average'; i want it to be red thanks Hi, Is there any way to have more than one action script in a form? Regards, Geetha Hey guys I am making a application form for my website and I have a few questions... After the application is complete and they hit Submit I want a message to come up and say "Thank you for the application" Then it clears all the text boxes etc to default so they know that the application is complete. How do I get that happening? Also I want the application to go to my email however I do not want the application to open a email form, at the moment I have got Code: <form action="MAILTO:contact@xin-gaming.com" method="post" enctype="text/plain"> but that opens up an email form so that they send it as if it was an email which I don't want. I want it to send it to my email but without the applicant knowing that it's going to my email. Sorry for the confusion >< Thank you in advance ooh, its been a long time since i had to ask a question in here. i have a form that just wants to redirect to the home page, no matter what the action is. HTML Code: <form id="contactForm" method="post" action="index.phtml?file=contact.phtml" enctype="multipart/form-data"> <input class="input" name="contact_name" type="text" onfocus="if(this.value == 'Name:') { this.value = ''; }" onblur="if(this.value == '') { this.value = 'Name:' }" value="<?php echo (!empty($_POST['contact_name']) && $_POST['contact_name']) ? $_POST['contact_name'] : 'Name:'; ?>" /> <input class="input" name="contact_phone" type="text" onfocus="if(this.value == 'Phone:') { this.value = ''; }" onblur="if(this.value == '') { this.value = 'Phone:' }" value="<?php echo (!empty($_POST['contact_phone'])) ? $_POST['contact_phone']: 'Phone:'; ?>" /> <input class="input" name="contact_email" type="text" onfocus="if(this.value == 'E-Mail:') { this.value = ''; }" onblur="if(this.value == '') { this.value = 'E-Mail:' }" value="<?php echo (!empty($_POST['contact_email'])) ? $_POST['contact_email']: 'E-Mail:'; ?>" /> <textarea name="contact_message" cols="1" rows="1" onfocus="if(this.value == 'Message:') { this.value = ''; }" onblur="if(this.value=='') this.value='Message:'" /><?php echo (!empty($_POST['contact_message'])) ? $_POST['contact_message'] : 'Message:'; ?></textarea> <a href="#" class="right link1" onclick="document.getElementById('contactForm').submit()">Send</a> <a href="#" class="right link1" onclick="document.getElementById('contactForm').reset()">Clear</a> <input name="ContactSubmit" type="hidden" /> </form> and its not submitting. i think i messed up the link submits, what url shoudl be in there, when i put in index.phtml?file=contact.phtml it stays on the page but doesnt process. also, is the enctype correct for this type of post? also my doc type is xhtml strict, but i am going to have to satisfy a couple errors as far as that is concerned as well, its complaining about Quote: document type does not allow element "input" here; missing one of "p", "h1", "h2", "h3", "h4", "h5", "h6", "div", "pre", "address", "fieldset", "ins", "del" start-tag when i change the action even to itself which is /contact.phtml it still redirects to the home page. i have to ask it, what obvious fundamental have i forgotton? EDIT, ok it must be in the link submits, when i delete the href tag out of it completely, it seems to be processing. i cant figure out why the # sign was in there, whats supposed to be there for a link submit? i trued a url and that didnt work right This maybe a dumb question. I form that I use for my mailing list. I am having trouble getting the cursor to display as a text cursor over the input section and a hand cursor over the "sign up" button. Ref: http://bigdogcattle.com Here is the html code: <div class="form_contents"> <label for="email">Join our Mailing List</label> <input type="text" name="email" /> <br/><br/> <input type="submit" value="Sign Up!"/> </div> Any ideas? Thanks, Jamie Can i assign a URL like index.php?page=result using the get method in a php form. Ex: HTML Code: <form action="?page=results" method="get"> <input type="submit" value="Submit"> </form> Hi everyone, I have been trying to change the colors around on this template ( http://www.oswd.org/design/preview/id/1876 ) but I cannot figure out how to change the dark blue background (the top color and bottom color) or the greyish color for the tabs. I can get part of the tabs to change color using my editor but even if I change each individual tab, the background color for that section is still the grey color. I have Dreamweaver and also Nvu as an editor and I'm just doing this to help a friend, so any help from you guys would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you very much! this is in style... .scrollright { width:0; height:0; border-left-width: 20px; border-left-style: solid; border-left-color: #33ccff; border-top: 10px solid transparent; border-bottom: 10px solid transparent; } this is where I make the thing on the page... <table style="position:absolute; z-index:-3; top:240px; left:1088px"> <tr> <td class="scrollright" onmouseover="this.style.borderLeftColor='#84DFC1';" onmouseout="this.style.borderLeftColor='#33ccff';" > </td> </tr> </table> the triangle is there the dang thing just wont change color...what gives??? Yeah so I'm probably doing something incredibly stupid and I've just been staring at this for too long and can't see it... Go to: http://test.rent2ownsb.com/south_ben...properties.php There, under Additional Options for the properties you will see links. All I want to do is change the link color to black. That whole thing is inside a div class .property-middle So I have a css rule .property a to color black (it's near the end in my stylesheet, http://test.rent2ownsb.com/css/style.css) SO WHY IN THE WORLD ISN'T IT TURNING BLACK??? Thank you in advance for recovering my sanity. I have this table that displays requests. The number of proposals is green. I need to make the request ID next to that red. How do I do that? $html .= "<tr>"; (number of proposals is green) $html .= "<td valign='top' height='20' style='border-top:1px solid #000000;color:#006600;padding-left:10px;' class='gtextNormal'>".$get_proposals."</td>"; $html .= "<td valign='top' height='20' style='border-top:1px solid #000000;' class='gtextNormal'>"; )This needs to display as red) $html .= "<a href='show_bids.php?id=$row[reqid]' class='gtextNormal'>$row[reqid]</a>"; $html .= "</td>"; Hello, I'm trying to change the text color within a <li> tag in order to display a red "*Updated*" text since we have updated step 3 and want the user to notice it. I've tried using div but it ends up putting the text after "Updated" on a new line instead of on the same line like I want it. Thank you for any help! Code: div.u1{ font-size:12px; color:red; } Code: <ol> <li>Enter your address in the box below</li> <li>Please check location</li> <li> <div class ="u1">*Updated*</div>For more info...</li> </ol> I'm a SEO guy that knows HTML but my client wants me to center the blue box then make it white. Now, I didn't design the site - but I looked at the code - the box is centered in the code and the bg is white - but if you look at the page, it doesn't look centered and the bg is blue. She has used a WysiwygEZ to edit - I tried both and I can't get it centered or get the table bg white. Here's the site: http://www.pamolder.com/eventsandpress.php Is it possible, and if so - how do I change color of an image using html. For example: HTML Code: <img src="http://i41.tinypic.com/30x7r49.png" border="0" color="blue /> But that doesn't work. I searched Google and found nothing. Any Solutions? Thank you in advance. Heya..
