HTML - Image And Text Code Help:

Hello!

I am creating a blog website using Weebly and am trying to insert a code in which an icon at the top of the blog post drops down a hidden bullet list with a summary of what the article is about. I have one that is working, but it has some flaws that I would like to kink out if possible. Here is the code I have:

The icon does what it is supposed to when clicked, but it has 2 flaws.
1. It doesn't show as clickable. When you mouse over the icon you still get an arrow key instead of the typical button icon.
2. When the page loads, the summary text is already visible and the button collapses it. I want the text to start off hidden and only appear/disappear when the icon is clicked.

Is there anyway to solve these? I am kinda of a novice with HTML and coding, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

How do you display code as text on the page, rather than running it?

Hello! I recently started a blog on the weebly website and I want to convert it over to wordpress. The only problem is that wordpress does not allow javascript, so I was wondering if there is a way to generate an html code without javascript that allows the user to click a button to drop down text. how do I display html code as text?

The page is an html document, I want users to be able to highlight and copy a piece of html code.
I have tried putting it in a text box in a form, but I can't seem to do it without the code being read as REAL html.

Hi, I'm trying to create a community website, basically a database of peoples info, sorted by their zip codes.

What I need is a text box that the user will type their zip code and it takes them to the page for that zip code.

I'm pretty sure this is possible just don't know how...

As whenever I put a html banner link to amazon, it puts it on the next line down

And I would like it to appear at the side of text.

Does anyone know where I can find some free code for a formatted/enhanced text field (very similar to the one I am typing this into, with the bold/italics/underline options, etc). I have a website where I upload a lot of articles that usually come in Word format, and instead of converting that to html (usually by hand because Word does not convert to xhtml transitional) I would much rather just use an enhanced text field and copy and paste it, then in the background I would have the code that would insert the articles to my database and create the pages and links for them.

I just need code for the enhanced form. Everything I have found so far is entire bulletin board systems, which I do not need.

I have a question and would appreciate any help, here it is:

I am building a website that has a blog (from google's blogger service) within one HTML frame. I'm looking for a way to program the site so that the blog-frame only displays a certain number of words / characters despite the amount of characters in the blog post, before it then interevenes with a "READ MORE" link which will then take the user to the full blog post.

Does anybody know if this is possible and do they have any suggestions as to how I could go about this?

I am using an online webpage builder. I made a table and copied the source code into the html editor window of this online builder, excluding only the <html> and <body> tags.

When i load the page, it throws up a ton of unwanted 'style definitions' etc...
