HTML - Uploaded Page Differs From Local View

How do I display an excel spreadsheet in a html web page that dynamically changes when the spreadsheet is edited? The spreadsheet on the web page doesn't have to be interactive, it can even just be made of html tables. As long as it updates with the actual spreadsheet.

Hello all.
I am creating my page from home on my personal desktop computer. It has a 17 inch, HP v72 crt monitor.
The problem that I am having is getting my page to look right on other computers.
eg.,image/text/link placement.
Example: My page looks fine when I view it from home on my own pc. But when I view it on my pc at work, everything is out of place.
How can I create a website that will look good on all the various monitor sizes, and screen resolutions?

Im searching for codes what will disallow to view browser your page, i need opera, firefox, and internet explorer codes. Anyone know where i can find codes what will disallow them to view page?

Fits my browser perfectly, however when viewed on other computers with a lower resoultion, the page doesn't fit and is too large.

How can I edit my code, or go about making it automatically fit with different resolutions?

(Right now it's all simple width="" height="", and that's how I was fitting it)

I have a request, I am creating an Intranet site for my company and would find it useful to display on the page the local machines IP address (not the public one), the LAN one. Can this be done in HTML or not, and if yes, can anyone please kindly point me in the right direction??

I want to load a local html file in an IFrame. The main page is loaded from a remote site (http://www.mysite.com). How can I do that if I don't have a web server installed on the local machine?
Is there any workaround?

Hello, im not sure if this is in the right place but,

I want, on my website, to have a section where it shows the five recently uploaded pictures to the 'portfolio' section. But this will be placed on the my index page.

does this make sense?

I am trying to make the page look ok in firefox. It's working fine on the pc, but when i view it online there's no area around the images. What am I doing wrong and why would it only effect it when it's uploaded? :S

Hi all --

I'm not sure even how to start dealing with this, so here goes. I have a site (adult) that users pay to see pics/videos. One of the members apparently is taking these pictures and uploading them to like an adult "hack" site... is there anything I can really do about this? If so, how would I go about it? I don't really want to disable the right-click, save as.. I have probably 3-4 thousand pictures up now, and more every week.

Any ideas?

I'm having an issue regarding how my site looks locally as opposed to the uploaded version.

It looks fine on my local machine, online it looks busted. It seems like it would be a simple issue but I'm on day two of trying to figure this out.

Any insight into this situation would be great.

It works locally but once uploaded to there servers I get a "page not found" after clicking a link. The link to the index page works but not the others. The people at fatcow where completely useless and just kept saying it was a scripting issue. however, if it were a scripting issue it wouldn't work locally.

Any insight?

I am a total newbie to html and I am sure this can probably be answered in a second....

I am trying to make my title text very large to make a statement - maybe 5 cm high. It doesnt seem to matter how big i make it in my nvu editor, ( in the normal screen mode) once i upload it to my webspace online it only appears at a much smaller size. I can make it so the title literally fills the screen in my nvu editor and then upload it to my webpage and it still restricts the maximum size it shows it at.

Does it sound like i am doing something wrong in my nvu html editor or should i be using some html text in the source mode to make the large text recognisable to my webspace, ie: using some font size comands?

I hope this makes sense.

I have a thumb drive that have portable apps on it. I am trying to make a help file in html for each one.

The problem I am running into is that i can't seem to make it load pictures.
