(Internet Explorer) (Firefox) Could someone please help me, Thanks Similar TutorialsYeah well the title says it... What it's supposed to look like: http://www.pzfantasyfootball.com What it does look like: http://www.pzfantasyfootball.com/forums This is my first time working with phpbb3 and let me tell you, it's been an interestingly horrible experience lol. Hi, There is a huge gap on this page and I cannot work out why it is there. Can anyone see the reason for this, please? http://dickinsons-coaches.co.uk/Daytrips2010.htm I would put the source code in but it would be too long. Have a look at my site Can anyone tell me what on earth happened in my sidebar? All of a sudden, the space under the poll I have on the right hand side extended, making my site fill up with blankl space (u can scroll down and see what I mean). I didn't do anything, it just happened on its own. Can anyone see why this is happening?? Thx. The text on this page has huge gaps between the lines. The gaps are between "Choose a Transaction", "Transaction Types" and the button "Next". I have included the page code and attached an image for reference. If you could help me close the gaps, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks. Code: <table width='770' border='0' cellpadding='0' cellspacing='0' id='maintable' align='center' valign='top' align='left' margin=0 padding=0 width='770' height='500' table style='background-color:#ffffff; font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; width:'770' height:'500'></td> <link href='custom.css' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'> <td id='menu' align='left' valign='top' rowspan='500' width='164'> <br> <img src='images/bullet.gif' alt='' width='10' height='10'><a href='index.php'><font color='#DDCEA2'><font face='Arial' size='2'>Home</a></font><br></a> <form method="POST" action="index.php"> <input class='field' type='hidden' name='command' value='account'> <input class='field' type='hidden' name='param' value='renew'> <input class='field' type='hidden' name='account_id' value='[account_id]'> <td colspan='2' class='pageTitle'><div class='hLine'><font face="Arial" color="#EE7600" size="3"> Choose a Transaction</font></div></td> <tr><td class='fieldLabel' width="30%"><font face="Arial" color=#000000" size="3" Style="padding: 5px;"> <font face="Arial" color="#000000" size="3"> Transaction Type:</font><!--</td>--> <td align="left"><font face="Arial" color="#EE7600" size="2">[account_type_panel]</font></td> <tr><td align="center"></td> <td align="left"><input name="submit" type='submit' class='button' value='Next' /></td> </tr> </form> <tr height='30%' ><div class='hLine'></div></td></tr> </table> As the title suggests my web page has some huge spaces between the text. I hope this isnt beat down.. i did a qick search but im reaallyyy tired right now so please excuse my ignorance in this area Hello, I want to create an admin form with ~70 inputs on it. (20 textboxes, 10 textareas, 40 checkboxes). Besides this the textual inputs must be present for 4 different languages. I mean if there is a textarea for description then there must be 3 others as well for description in different languages. In this case the form becomes very big and hard to fill for the admins. Does anybody has an idea how to make it as user friendly as possible? Hi all, I'm not an html guru by any standards. I have a problem where my page shows a huge gap between the movie and comments area. Can anyone advise on this? You'll need to be logged in to see this problem: Thanks in advance for any help on this. htmlmonkey I'm making a webcomic system. It has first/next/last/latest buttons on it and a drop down menu to go to a specific comic. The problem is in the menu. I made it and it works perfectly. The only problem is when I make a new comic I would have to update all 100-or-so comic html pages to show the new comic in all of the drop down directories. How do I update one page to show all of the comics on the same drop-down form? Hey Guys Im after hitting a huge brick wall with a college proj. I have created a web-site with dreamweaver. Its saved as .php. I opened it todyay and once the browser opens new pages keep opening. Only way to stop it is to kill the page. I have tried opening it in explorer and it just crasher explorer. This has only happened as recently as today, with the proj going on since jan. Error attached below All suggestions welcome Rgds RA Hey everyone, I'm trying to set my background image, but for some reason it has a large black bar at the bottom, where the pink gradient should actually start at the bottom so that you cant see the black bar? I'm trying to upload my Index.html file, but when I do the image loader says that its not a valid file? Any ideas? Hello I am a total newbie to html and I am sure this can probably be answered in a second.... I am trying to make my title text very large to make a statement - maybe 5 cm high. It doesnt seem to matter how big i make it in my nvu editor, ( in the normal screen mode) once i upload it to my webspace online it only appears at a much smaller size. I can make it so the title literally fills the screen in my nvu editor and then upload it to my webpage and it still restricts the maximum size it shows it at. Does it sound like i am doing something wrong in my nvu html editor or should i be using some html text in the source mode to make the large text recognisable to my webspace, ie: using some font size comands? I hope this makes sense. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks Alex I would like to have an image that takes 2 url like the following image... is it possible? if so, can someone please tell me how this could be done? Thank you very much.. NOTE: I tried doing this... <map name= 'url1' > <area shape= 'poly' coords= ' 0 , 0 , 50 , 0 , 0 , 50 ' href= 'url1.html' > </map> <a href= 'url2.html' > <img src= 'img.jpg' width= 50 height= 50 usemap= '#url1' > </a> but this only get 'url1' woring... Okay, I know that this problem is going to be really really easy, but I forgot how to do it. I use to own an older website and forgot the code. Anyways, I only know how to describe it. When I minimize the screen, it is minimizing the whole thing and collapsing it making the iframes smaller and the text fit into a smaller space. Most websites have a code (i don't know what it is) so that when someone minimizes their browser, it just makes the browser smaller and not the actual page. Here's what it looks like: http://www.freewebs.com/noeylani94/index.htm Try minimizing that and see how it looks. It collapses the whole page right? Can someone tell me the code how to fix it? Thanks =D I we see its result we get so much top and bottom space just this code: code: <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"> <tr> <td bgcolor="#00FFFF"><h1>Hello</h1></td> </tr> </table> I want to remove top and bottom space. any help Whenever I try to send a PM it is telling me I need to wait over a million seconds, and it never goes away.. Help? My daughter is building a website for some kind of school competition and is having a problem with how a table is displaying in IE 9. It displays properly in Chrome and FF though so I'm not sure what the problem is. Keep in mind, she's just a junior in HS and used, by all accounts, some antiquated methods in constructing the page. That said, I'm hoping someone could offer some insight into the issue. The table should be centered and the same the width of the banner and menu. For Chrome and FF, the table is centered on the page when the viewing resolution allows all the content to fit without the need for a scroll bar. On the pages where a scroll bar is needed, the table is shifted to the left to accommodate the scroll bar and thus becomes off-centered. I was thinking that an i-frame could take care of this since the scroll bar would then be located on the inside of the i-frame. In Chrome and FF, maybe it would. However, in IE, the table is displaced to the left on all pages. Interestingly enough, the displacement is the same with and without a scroll bar. Sooooo, I would humbly ask those with knowledge of such things to offer advice or a solution to this problem. Much appreciation is extended in advance. Here is the link to the site: http://www.newtonyouth.zxq.net My website is urlremoved.com and i am having a problem from keeping the ads on the right hand side from changing whenever the window size gets smaller. Here is a link to my CSS for the website http://www.uploading.com/files/WSAC1...hteet.css.html But any help would be great.
