HTML - Creating A Popup Window [was "microsoft Frontpage"]
Hi there,
I am using frontpage and have just created a button called 'terms and conditions'. How to I get frontpage to make this open up into a small new window that I can paste my terms into. This is what I am after, just a smaller window like pop-up box style thing! Cheers! Similar TutorialsIn mininova.org, when we scroll down the page, ad on the right side is automatically adjusted. How to do achieve this using html? I want to implement the same in my site? Hover over to the headings and on the left side of the heading, you will notice that little buttom that allows you to Expand/Collapse the menu. Those are the specific drop downs/(whatever they are called) that i want to create. Im not interested in the content inside of it, im just interested in making that type of expand/collapse menu. Please explan to me how i can do this, how can i implement it into my site, do i need to create the design in photoshop?.Anything that will help me create this. Your help will be highly appreciated. A customer gave me a Word doc that they want turned into a printer friendly web page. I understand that there are tons of ways to do this but I really want the answer to the subject. What i'm referring to is a form that someone can print from the browser and "fill in the blanks" on the page where there are "underscores". My question is how to code those underscores. I tried manipulating the <hr> tag but it's putting way too much space in between each <hr>. I've already coded a "fill in the blank" line using <u> nbsp;</u> but that looks very messy. I'm trying to use code that will allow me to have links my guests click open in a new window of a set size. The problem I'm having is that when I use this code the cursor doesn't change to a hand when my guests mouse over the images I want them to click. I'm afraid they won't realize they are links. I found the code on a website I put together years ago, hopefully there's a better way to do this now. Iv been creating an ebay listing on Frontpage, the pictures iv added to the page have been from my pc, next I click on the CODE tab at the bottom, I copy all the code, then I go into turbo lister and click the HTML tab, I paste the code in, then I click on preview, the pics are not there, just a little red x in the corner. So Im thinking I should upload the Pics from my PC onto my server, (uk2) aswel as the whole file, in uk2 on the panel it shows EDIT HTML, it has all the pics there! then I click the CODE Tab and copy the code and pasted the code back into turbo lister, same thing, no pics again. Most of the time I figure these typs of things out before I get help, and this was is a real brain teaser! The filename is ebaylisting1, also it says the the file is a firefox Document Please Advise, thank you I was hoping someone could clue me in as to whether or not this would be possible. I'd like to provide a file for people to download on my website, but when they click on the link and the download window appears I don't want them to have the option of opening it. thx in Adv, Hanm. I have a project written in ASP.NET under Visual Studio 2005 with C#. I am also using Infragistics objects for .NET Advantage 2007. In my page to attach resources to a record I have written a browser and am displaying previously chosen resources here. But when I click the upload button the page opens a new window (which is not a dialog window, but a normal one) which is exactly the same as my dialog window. How can this possibly happen? I need to give a seminar on it !!!!! Hello folks, I have written some html, xhtml possibly, which has an href to another page, the second page being in frames and in a new window. It worked fine on an Me but now in XP it won't open the 2nd window (from the link in the first) saying it can't locate file bla bla bla, check the address.... The odd thing is where there were gaps in the address which I blocked in with a " %20 " for the browser to recognise, its saying its looking for the right address but with a 25 where all the %20's are, as well as the twenties themselves, so they now appear as "html%2520code" for example. When I open the file that is the target of the link I get the typical white file not found page, but it is dividing the screen as the frames of that file tell it to do. I have a webform that collects data and then a javascript function calculates som values. The problem I have is that in Sweden we use "," as a decimal separator but the form only accepts "." or else I get error. Please how do you change that!?
