HTML - How To Change Properties Of An Object?

Hi guys, i tried looking for help on tihs issue but could not find any. the problem is this:

I have an image that is viewed in landscape. i want to make this printable, but when i print it, half of this landscape image is printed in portrait mode. is there any way i can set the print properties so that when the user goes to File>Print it will show the normal print options, and actually print in landscape?

where the ( menuh= the text or links ) the ( Tr=Lu ) and the ( Td=LI ) if so.
?#2 Where can I find all of the properties I can use for the ( menuh Li ) tag in the CSS part.
or can I just put properties in the ( LI tag ) just like you do in the ( TD tag ) in the html body part of the page.

I am using another persons code for our band's MySpace.( With some of my own) I am trying to display the shows section and the music player. When i insert the shows section the music player always displays behind the shows section.

It is displaying the music player within the limits of the shows section. How do i make the music player seperate?

The slideshow movie is in FLV format, and it works fine in FF, Opera and Safari. Funny thing is that it works fine in IE when I test it on my desktop (Windows XP), but it won't work at all when I test it in IE on my laptop (Windows 7). Any idea why that would be?

I'm using the FLV Player to play my video, as it gives me nearly all the parameters I was looking for, it doesn't require any scripting, and it's open source. Also, it seems to work with all the major browsers while not forcing me to use the EMBED tag, which is deprecated now and shouldn't be used. But it still boggles my mind why it would work in IE on one of my computers but not on the other.

Hi guys.
I'm developing a website, as you do, but I've got two glitches with IE7, that Firefox doesn't have (though that always seems the case). This is to do with the OBJECT tag - using this code:

I wanted to show the content in the HTM file but have a transparent background, showing what is behind the OBJECT. This works fine in Firefox, however with IE7 it assumes a white background on the object by default, not a transparent background. In the meantime I have used a conditional comment on the nextshow.htm page to use a relatively suitable colour for the background if IE7 is being used, but it would be nice to keep it transparent - any suggestions?

The other issue is in using saurdo gallery (an AJAX photo show / gallery applet). If you visit this page in IE7, then select a photo, the screen darkens and loads the photo in full-size, however the OBJECT is still above everything else, covering up a part of the photo as well as the CLOSE button in the box. In Firefox, this isn't an issue, with the object displaying underneath the box and darkened screen. The aforementioned link will also exemplify the first issue I am having.

If you can help me out I'd be very appreciative.

What I want to do is have an iframe or something that contains only a portion of an external website. Specificically, I want to only include the search results of an ebay search URL. I can use an iframe, object, or server-side include to include the whole page in my page; however, I can't figure out how to access the dom on those objects so as to locate only the search-results div. It must be doable, since I can see that dom via firebug, but I can't seem to access it programmatically myself. Any suggestions?

I have an object (swf animation). Now, i would like to have an image directly under that object (touching each other).

I inserted an swf using the object tag.
I used hspace and vspace to position it.
Some browsers (opera/firefox) don't seem to be reading the vspace.

Can I use CSS to position an object tag? I tried giving it a class name but it still doens't seem to work. Any suggestion?

Hi,
I have an activex control which loads with object tag. I use the windows registry key value to load the class. When i run the code from a local machine it works fine, but when i upload to a unix based server, the controls do not load. Is there something I am doing wrong?
