HTML - Dotted Line Around Links ??!?!?!?!

Hey, i have been using a javascript file to display images when you roll over a thumbnail and this works fine but for some reason a tiny blue line keeps showing after all of my thumbnail images. Heres the code for the thumbnail. If you need more please say.

Hi,

I had a previous post but have changed teh way teh links are styled so thought it need a new subjest to solve a different problem.

The links in teh bottom left column appear nicely in IE but have double line spacing in FF

Any ideas how to stop the double line spacing in FF?

I'm trying to position text, links and pictures to follow one after the other, but it doesn't work.


I want to see

"Homepage" on the left corner of my webpage
"Next" on the right corner of my webpage

Unfortunately this command doesn't work properly.

It makes the "Next" go down a line, instead of being in the same line of the "Homepage".



Also, on that vein, is there any way I can align images and text on the same line without using spaces*?

As in:

<p align="left">Hello</p> <p align="center">Hello</p> <p align="right">Hello</p>

But they all should stay on the same line. Any guides, or even links to tutorial about my issue would be appreciated. I've been trying to google for a while, it's becoming frustrating.


*I think the problem with spaces is that people with different resolution would see the text in different places than I want them to see.

I made some slices in photoshop to manage the links from Front Page but the links look like this.Check the photo... any one knows what shall i do ?

Hi, I'm trying to find a way to fill the empty space between a description and its relative letter for example:


blablablalbalbalblablabla (***carry over to the second line because out of space)
blabla----(white space)----a. (** the letter)


the description is done by cold fusion query and the structure is in a table with the vertical align = bottom to ensure the letter match the last line of the description.


now I need to make change to this so that the whitespace between the last line do the description and the letter is filled with dots like this:

blablablalbalbalblablabla (***No dots on the line above the last line)
blabla ............................ a.

I've tried number of methos but none of them sync well with my situation, Any suggestion on how to do this will be greatly appreciated,

I have had this problem on almost all the websites I've made and I'm too picky to let it go...

When I make the navigation images/buttons for a website, I set the border to zero as usual and link each image to its respective page. But, when I click on the image to take me where it's supposed to, this pesky dotted border appears around the edge of the image after it has been clicked and it remains there until I click on something else on that page. (This also happens to text links when clicked, but I'm not too worried about the text links.)

For the websites I've made that go to an entirely new page after an image link is clicked, the dotted line appears around the linked image after it's clicked and before the next page has loaded, but then after the new page loads the dotted line is gone. But, for websites I have built that utilize frames, because the new page that loads is in an iframe, and because the page the navigation buttons are located on never changes, the dotted border stays around the image after its been clicked and, like I mentioned earlier, doesn't go away until I click on something else on that same page.

An example of this can be seen when you click the images in the navigation column along the left side of a website I built located at the following URL: http://www.djprogress1.com/

This border problem could be specific to my website browser (I use Firefox), but I am not sure. And the border could be added entirely by the browser and there may be no way to get rid of it through coding, but again, I am not sure of this. So, does anyone know if anything can be done to fix this or am I stuck with these dotted borders?

Hi everyone, I hope I have posted this in the right area. This is my first time posting here. I currently have my main pages listed at the top of my site as graphics (see fussybaby.ca). I would like to potentially remove these graphics and use text links instead - I had the graphics designed for me, so I can't just go in and make new ones, however I'd like to change/rearrange the links and add some new ones.

So my question is: How hard is this to do? Is this something I need to hire someone to do for me?

The way it's being displayed is having the last name string first and then the input and submit (both of them) under that last name string.

I would like for all of these values to be on the same line. How can I do that? <p> doesn't work, tried it. Anything I can do in CSS?

Hey i am having trouble with putting a horizontal line in.
I got the line in but it doesn't go all the way across the page.

this stays in the same line but both are bold, i have tried adding a class="normaltextstyle" but the color changes but it still stays bold

for example.

I put the script into an editor and it fills the page as one big paragraph and not in a line format.

Is this a common thing

Question: What do I place in the Value="???" option to ensure that I get two lines in a button

For Example, I wish to put the following in the value of the button:

/Del

Of course, I tried ' Value="Edit<br />/Del" ' --- but that didn't work, I also tried :
'Value="Edit\n/Del"' - also , no joy (

Can anyone tell my why an extra line is appearing on this site in IE but not Firefox? And what's causing it, how to get rid of it?

It's the line above the menu. Also why is the menu centering in IE and how do I get it to align to the right?

***nevermind, I figured out the menu. But the line is driving me insane and I can't figure out what's causing it
