HTML - How Can I Move These Sentences
I have a review page at:
http://www.bestsellersworld.com/revi...ightingale.htm I had something under the Amazon.com buy box but removed it. Now I have a space there. I would like the text that starts "What is different about these bodies? " to move over to the left. How can I do this? Similar TutorialsHey guys. Can someone explain what I need to do to get 2 sentences or paragraphs to line up next to each other without one of them being pushed down?, and leaving a big gap on my page. Same with putting text next to an image. I basically have my main page done, it's all centered. Now I just want to put a small sentence in the top left corner of my page and when I do, everything in the middle gets pushed down I attached a little example below of what i'm trying to achieve. As you can see, there's a paragraph centered and then a few sentences beside it aligned to the right explaining about a t-shirt and gigs and stuff. Thanks a lot. Tunes Hi all. Please look at: http://bartending.com/drinks_recipes/Sangria.html The box towards the bottom of the middle section which starts out as: 1 Comment is a <tr><td> in a table, however, I can't get it to move closer to the one above it. I tried adding style="margin-bottom:0px;" to the previous <tr>, but that didn't work either. Any help you have would be much appreciated =) Light and Love and Healing to you, -Patrick Arden McNally I have these images and text. The top of the results page is the header, listing the categories while the rest of the page is just a nested loop getting data from the database and listing it in the columns. Does anyone know how to make the header section not move when I scroll down? I would like to have it stay at the top no matter what while I scroll through the list of results. Thanks for your time, sorry if this is a really simple question, or if this is in the wrong forum. i have an <object> that i would like to move up and down along with the user's reading so that the links menu is always there for them, does any1 know a way i can set this up cuz that would be the coolest thing ive seen banners that do this but couldnt figure out the exact code causing the effect on the page I have a table with 5 images in one row. In 4 of them the four images are of words for a navigation bar. Each word is black and right below it is the same word in color. When the mouse hovers over the four words I would like the image to raise up so that the colored words are shown. Here is what I have so far: Code: <table> <tr> <td><a href="" target="_new"><img src="menu/Logo.png" width="139" height="155" alt="Back to home page" border="0"></a></td> <td><a href="" target="_new"><img src="menu/Drafting.png" width="98" height="65" alt="Drafting" border="0"></a></td> <td><a href="" target="_new"><img src="menu/Programming.png" width="157" height="65" alt="Programming" border="0"></a></td> <td><a href="" target="_new"><img src="menu/Resume.png" width="93" height="65" alt="Resume" border="0"></a></td> <td><a href="" target="_new"><img src="menu/Contact.png" width="96" height="65" alt="Contact" border="0"></a></td> </tr> </table> Is it possible to move the images like this or do I need to use a background image instead? hi, as i try to make a round html table, i encounter a problem with a space, i donna want to make this in css!. I have text at the top right, "A Site for All Nations to Share their Knowledge!" and I need to move it to the left a bit so its not overlapping the sun image. I appreciate You! Hi all New to this forum and pretty basic in html But how to i create links at the top of the page to move down the page to certain sections. Regards, Alan Able to handle html sample code Hello! I hope someone can help! On the left column of my website he http://www.showlistportland.com ...there are ads. Hyperlinked images. But, when clicked they move out of the way!! How can I stabilize these images??? Any help is much appreciated!!! Thanks, b Ok, I'm sure the title was very vague, but I didn't know how to ask this. Lets say, for example, I have a view count for certain page on my website that is automatically generated. I want to take that number, and have it also automatically generated on another page, that links to that page. So say I have a page about elephants that has a view count of 57. I want to have on another page a picture of an elephant (that is also a link) and beside that picture, I want it to say View Count: 57. Is there some type of javascript or html coding or something I can do to make this happen? Please help. How can I place the php form into the html page? Please see the attachment describe what I asking for. thank you. I can't figure out how to script an image so that it slides to another area on the page when clicked on. For example, a logo that appears in the center of a blank page (vertical-align: middle), but when clicked slides smoothly to the top (vertical-align: top). Alternatively, it could be that clicking the image changes the vertical-align property of the entire table or cell. Either way, I can't figure out how to do this with a smooth animation. A fantastic example of this--where I got the idea, in fact--is the front page of tumblr.com, where clicking "Log in" smoothly slides the tumblr logo from the top of the page to the center. How is this done? I'm sorry if the solution is mind-bogglingly simple, I'm kind of a noob. But I've racked the web and I can't seem to find a script that does this. Can somebody please help? Thanks so much. Hi I have a form which posts back using mailto: method="post" enctype="text/plain" So all the lines in the emial which the form sends look like this: line1= form text line2= more form text line3= more form text is it possible to remove the line1= ? so the email would look like: form text more form text more form text I have removed the name of the form field element as a test on line 1 so it looks like: =form text line2= more form text line3= more form text But you can see it still holds the = Can I get rid of this too?
