HTML - Draw Table Inside The Textarea

I have the following problem: The table is shown but it needs to be printed... so I cannot use a textarea with scrolling option.... I need the textarea to be completely seen. What I need to write is a XML string... Is there a way of knowing the number of lines contained by this string (so I could put it in the rows parameter)? Another thing, I would like the textarea to completely fit within the 2 columns.... how can I do it? May be is there another way of doing it, without using textarea? Is there a way to specify what coordinates to draw using img? Hi all, In my report i show the amount value. Below the amount value, i want to draw 2 horizontal lines close to each other in HTML. I used 2 hr tags and it printed 2 horizontal lines but the width between them is large. I want the 2 horizontal lines to be very close to each other. e.g Amount: 100 -------- -------- The above 2 lines should be closer to each other and not like the above. All I want is for the text field and submit button to sit exactly in the middle (vertically aligned) inside the table with an equal space above and below (table background is dark colour so very noticeable) In Dreamweaver, it looks fine until published - then there is a large gap below the text field and submit button but small space above.
