HTML - Display Another Site Within Site [was 'html Help Required (easy, I Hope)']
I am wondering if it is possible to create an INDEX.HTML to redirect to another website?
I would like it to display the redirected site, but if possible keep to the original address.. e.g. A site named www.mysite.com, with an INDEX.HTML to redirect to www.othersite.com, which displays OTHERSITE with www.mysite.com in the address bar. Hope I explained ok, any responce would be much appricated! Thanks! Similar TutorialsA family friend has asked me to take over the maintance of her existing sitre. The current layout is very poor. It has to be easy to edit the text later on his own when the site is done. How would you suggest I build it? (I am familiar with dreamweaver for html) It will also have some flash content. (flash content need not to be editable, only stable so it doesn't change position from page to page. menu will be in flash) Is joomla any good for my client? how should I do it? Thanks a lot for your advice, js. Hello, I have nearly finished working on a site for my brother's Photography but am running into an issue with how it displays in IE7. Here is a link to the site: http://www.markofphotography.com/ It looks fine in Opera and Firefox, but IE7 can't seem to render it. I created the site's HTML using Photoshop and slices. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! fixed it on my own, this site would prob attract a lot more newbies like me if you actually helped instead of glancing at the code and making comments about things that aren't part of the problem Right now i have a website that is an output frmo unix that displays the amount of free space on a server. The problem is the whole website is a mess and i only need certain information from that site. By the way the output is an html file. How would i go about taking the small information i need and displaying it on a different website? I have talked to some colleagues and some suggest VB-Script. If anyone has any knowledge about this that would be great. Thanks David I am building a website in dreamweaver cs3. It displays normal in all browsers except an older version of IE (I think 6.0). I have read a bunch and have learned about float left and left margin problems with older IE versions. Nothing has helped so far. To make a long story short if you view http://whatwowart.com the right column where you sign up for newsletter etc. gets put under the whole page in older IE (I think 6.0). If someone could please help me I would really appreciate it. Thanks, John O Code can be seen at: http://whatwowart.com/code.html http://www.mythlabb.com/ IE displays the top logo just fine. Firefox displays it as a broken image. It's just a .jpg file, nothing special, and it's on the page as a regular image tag right at the top of the Body tag. Am I missing some little Firefox quirk here or something? I removed the text content in the code snippet below but it's enough to get the idea. Code: <html> <head> <link rel="stylesheet" href="styles/mainStyle.css" type="text/css" media="screen" charset="utf-8" /> </head> <body> <center><img src="images\mythLogo.jpg"></center> <center>webdesign - consultation - graphics<br></center><br><br> <div id="topnav">Insert menu here</div> <div id="maintext">Insert text here</div> </body> </html> The title says it all, my site just doesn't properly work in safari. heres the link www.royaltee-design.com help would really be appreciated thanks i have an html site, my problem is at the bottom just below the banner the grey doesn't join to the banner not sure if you want my code or not so here it is. www.jasongold.org Code: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <link href="css.css" media="all" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; LOL i need major help. Hey guys ive made my first design for myself Here and i was wounder is there any good tutortials for forums / user list on site ? Ive now learnt how to make a site wanna learn how to use the database with login / forum and show user list. any help would be greatly appriciated Hello all. I'm new to these forums. A new free MMO is being launched on June 20, and I have decided to make a nice guild page for the guild me and a friend have made. However, having absolutely no experience whatsoever with coding, I've run into some problems. The site may be viewed he www.maliceadmin.5gbfree.com I have set the site up perfectly the way I want it on my main desktop. Everything is aligned perfectly, no trouble at all. This is on a 19 inch monitor at 1280x960 resolution. However, I was just surfing the web upstairs here on my laptop and decided to check out my site. The text is not aligned properly as it was shown on my main desktop. I'm completely new to coding so please be very detailed in your responses. Does anybody know what the problem might be? Also, I couldn't figure out how to adjust the height of my table. For example, when text reaches the end of the black box, I want it to cut off and have a scrollbar to be scrollable. My final and least important question why the text size and alignment works on Firefox, but not IE. That would be all. Thanks for your time. I am working on a site and the picture at the front looks nice and correct size in Firefox but the image gets stretched and looks bad in IE (not at first but if you refresh the page). I know a realitivly small amount about HTML. The site is he http://undergrounder.nfshost.com/ Code: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"> <html> <head> <title>Undergrounder.com</title> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <style type="text/css"> <!-- .style1 { font-size: 36px; font-style: italic; font-weight: bold; font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif; } .style3 { font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif; font-weight: bold; color: #000000; } a:link { color: #990033; } a:visited { color: #990033; } a:hover { color: #990033; } a:active { color: #990033; } --> </style> </head> <body> <div align="center" class="style1"> <p>Undergrounder.com</p> </div> <p align="center"><img width="70%" height="70%" src="imgs/index/m.JPG" alt="Clay Caver Image"></p> <div align="center" class="style3"> <p><a href="imgs/Photogal/indexp.html">Photo Gallery</a> ~ <a href="gocaving.htm">Want to go caving?</a></p> </div> </body> </html> Basically I want to know how do I integrate code from one website to my website. I basically want to show info from yelp.com and put some comments onto my site for a business and I want it so when someone adds a comment to yelp my site updates with it, so i dont have to go copy/paste the comment. Is this possible without using a iframe and if so, how? Want the comments from this url: http://www.yelp.com/biz/burger-delux-northville added to this site on its own page: http://burgerdeluxellc.com/ Hi, This will sound such a rookie question simply because I've never done this. Ok, I've created a page for a friend entirely within Fireworks. I have sliced the page and exported it in HTML to Dreamwaver. Now I do this a lot with ebay listings, and I simply upload the slices to a free online hosting company, they then give me the image location and I paste that into the slices src and job done, one pretty listing. Now, I'm trying to use Filezilla to upload the slices of the page in question to their host, which I'm doing easy enough. However, Filezilla doesn't let me see the location of the image, so I've no idea what to paste into the src! It has been stressing me to the max the past 24hrs as its all I need to get the site online! Thanks in advance for any help offered. Is there any way to extract the HTML from this MySpace page? I have a client who is interested in making a clone MySpace page similar to this one, I've tried saving the website and it doesnt work: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...endID=71390434 One problem I'm seriously having, is to have the background scroll to the left and right with the existing page. I cannot get this done on my own for some reason. Any help'd be appreciated. Thanks Nick Intuition Webdesign Hello guys, i have little problem with my website. www.tvfm.mk/tv.html when you go to that link it redirects you to a website with gay porn.
