HTML - Display Another Site Within Site [was 'html Help Required (easy, I Hope)']
I am wondering if it is possible to create an INDEX.HTML to redirect to another website?
I would like it to display the redirected site, but if possible keep to the original address.. e.g. A site named www.mysite.com, with an INDEX.HTML to redirect to www.othersite.com, which displays OTHERSITE with www.mysite.com in the address bar. Hi, My client needs an html website. It has to be easy to edit the text later on his own when the site is done. How would you suggest I build it? (I am familiar with dreamweaver for html) It will also have some flash content. (flash content need not to be editable, only stable so it doesn't change position from page to page. menu will be in flash) Is joomla any good for my client? how should I do it? The problem is the whole website is a mess and i only need certain information from that site. By the way the output is an html file. If anyone has any knowledge about this that would be great. Thanks David I am building a website in dreamweaver cs3. It displays normal in all browsers except an older version of IE (I think 6.0). I have read a bunch and have learned about float left and left margin problems with older IE versions. Nothing has helped so far. To make a long story short if you view http://whatwowart.com the right column where you sign up for newsletter etc. gets put under the whole page in older IE (I think 6.0). A new free MMO is being launched on June 20, and I have decided to make a nice guild page for the guild me and a friend have made. However, having absolutely no experience whatsoever with coding, I've run into some problems. This is on a 19 inch monitor at 1280x960 resolution. However, I was just surfing the web upstairs here on my laptop and decided to check out my site. The text is not aligned properly as it was shown on my main desktop. I'm completely new to coding so please be very detailed in your responses. Does anybody know what the problem might be? Also, I couldn't figure out how to adjust the height of my table. For example, when text reaches the end of the black box, I want it to cut off and have a scrollbar to be scrollable. My final and least important question why the text size and alignment works on Firefox, but not IE. That would be all. Thanks for your time. Basically I want to know how do I integrate code from one website to my website. I basically want to show info from yelp.com and put some comments onto my site for a business and I want it so when someone adds a comment to yelp my site updates with it, so i dont have to go copy/paste the comment. Ok, I've created a page for a friend entirely within Fireworks. I have sliced the page and exported it in HTML to Dreamwaver. Now I do this a lot with ebay listings, and I simply upload the slices to a free online hosting company, they then give me the image location and I paste that into the slices src and job done, one pretty listing. Now, I'm trying to use Filezilla to upload the slices of the page in question to their host, which I'm doing easy enough. However, Filezilla doesn't let me see the location of the image, so I've no idea what to paste into the src! It has been stressing me to the max the past 24hrs as its all I need to get the site online! Thanks in advance for any help offered. Is there any way to extract the HTML from this MySpace page?
