i'm using 6 iframes in a page
my page has scrolling whlie i click a link on top most iframe the page has been slide down the scroll bar comes to middle plz help me Similar TutorialsI have an iframe in the middle of a page. I am trying to display another page within the iframe, but to start it a couple of paragraphs down, not at the top. So I have put an anchor into my iframe src, corresponding to an anchor name tag in my other page. The iframe scrolls itself ok, but the main body of the page also scrolls so that the top of the iframe is at the top of the screen, which is not what I intended. Is there a way to scroll just the iframe, with the top of the main page still at the top of the screen? <html> <body> <table> <tr> <td> table1 etc ... <table> <tr> <td> table2 etc ... <table> <tr> <td> <iframe src="another.html#marker"> </iframe> etc thanks Is there anyway to stop the page 'jumping to the top' when using a link like the below? <a href="#">karthi</a> .. I just want it to stay in the same position on the page & not jump to the top of the page every time a link like that is clicked. Hey all! I'm just starting to work on a site and already it's giving me a hard time. It's not much at the moment, but here's where I'm at http://comgardens.com/wandl/index.html If you hit the refresh button a couple of times you'll see that the content jumps, at least in Firefox, and I can't figure out why. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!! For the life of me I can't seem to figure out why this page jump isn't working. http://www.thegoheens.com/resources/test.html Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! I have "HTML tidied" and I know I have errors...but I use shopify which uses liquid code along with HTML so the tidy is reading alot of errors produced by my liquid aswell as my own BUT would anyone know what would be the specific problem with the search form that just keeps moving around... oh yea it works fine on every other page except me shopping cart page...wtf... Any help or suggestions are appreciated, and thanks before hand. Here is the LINK >>http://www.chicityswag.com/cart password : whome Ok, I've tried everything I can think of, and I'm still getting a 'jumping header':\ The header is jumping from the Homepage, to the SubPages. When navigating to other Subpages, everything is fine; So, the problem is with the Homepage. http://www.khaus.com/sites/Asongo/html/ (click on About Us, then back to Home, and you'll see the 'jump') It must be in the code of the Homepage, so I've tried: - attaching the javascript - all the code for the top parts of the page are the same - rebuilding the page, with one of the interior pages format. Any help or suggestions, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Reply With Quote I have a quirky problem, and it exists with many of my sites. It involves Firefox browser, as well as Chrome. Here are the conditions of the website pages that have problems: 1. Page is fixed width, centered in the browser 2. Google AdSense is present on the page 3. Browser is either Firefox or Chrome. Internet Explorer doesn't present any problems. When the page with the above conditions is loaded, the page shows up at the RIGHT of the browser, then shifts to it's proper location in the center of the browser. This occurs every time a page with adsense is loaded, and can be irritating going page to page. An example for my site is he AdSense Page Shift Test Please use Firefox browser, maximized on a monitor with a greater width than 1024. There are five working tabs with examples, four of them have adsense on them. The one without adsense does NOT jump, and I'd like all the pages to emulate it. I"d appreciate any direction to solving the problem. Firefox and Chrome are rapidly increasing in popularity, and I'd like to solve this rather quirky problem. Overview User will visit the site, that has a default iframe on load that displays in on the page. The below div i'm using to null their ability to navigate the base page *excluding the iframe Code: <div id="popupMask0" class="popupMask" style="z-index: 2001; display: block; height: 600px; width: 100%; top: 0px; left: 0px;"> </div> So the user is looking at a page that has a user agreement in the iframe. if they click "NO", they are re-directed to a page that says they cannot view the site due to not agreeing to the terms page. If they click "YES", they are taken to a terms of use page, also contained in the iframe with the masked div over the main page. Once on the terms page, if they click "NO", they are re-directed to a page that says they cannot view the site due to not agreeing to the 2nd terms page. If they click "YES", the iframe disapears and the masked DIV disapears. The user will have the ability to click links and objects on the base page at this time. Goal Need to have a user agreement page, and term page display before allowing users to login to a site. This is the cleanest way that i can think of for the restrictions i need to work around. All viewers will be using IE, so no need to be cross-browser friendly. screen shots attached Hi everyone. I am working on a website and it is turning out good so far. I made an iframe and menu buttons that all work fine with it. My question is that when i first load my site the iframe area is blank till i click my "home page" button. Is there anyway to put my home page in the iframe right from the get-go before i have to click the home page button? and still have the other menu buttons functional? Thanks. Hi, Facing a strange issue. My html page contains a div element with fixed height and width and its overflow property set as hidden. as shown below: Code: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"> <title>Insert title here</title> </head> <body> <div style="height: 200px;width: 400px; border: 3px coral solid; overflow: hidden;"> <input type="text" value="AAAAAAA" /> I am rahul working to counter special feature of safari Web tool kit I am rahul working to counter special feature of safari Web tool kit I am rahul working to counter special feature of safari Web tool kit I am rahul working to counter special feature of safari Web tool kit I am rahul working to counter special feature of safari Web tool kit I am rahul working to counter special feature of safari Web tool kit I am rahul working to counter special feature of safari Web tool kit I am rahul working to counter special feature of safari Web tool kit I am rahul working to counter special feature of safari Web tool kit I am rahul working to counter special feature of safari Web tool kit 111 111 232 23 23 232 32 3 <input type="text" value="1111111" /> <input type="text" value="1111111" /> <input type="text" value="1111111" /> <input type="text" value="1111111" /> <input type="text" value="1111111" /> </div> </body> </html> Now if you open this html page in safari or chrome. As the content of the div is overflowing and div's overflow property is set as hidden so no scrollbar is displayed(as desired). Set focus on input type text, keep mouse pressed and drag the mouse. You will observe that div's content starts scrolling(which was not desired). Now open this page in ff/Ie and perform same operation content does not scrolls(desireable). How can I make sure that div's content does not scrolls in safari too. Code spinet will help. You can test this by copy pasting the html content in a test page and open in safari or chrome? Everytime I load it in Internet Explorer a pop up comes up saying "click here to run an ActiveX on this web page"... Any ideas? http://www.curiousclothing.com/test/ Hey all, i'm new to the forum so let me know if i've posted in the wrong place! I'm looking for a script to listen out for clicks on the page, even if the page contains an iframe. So no matter where the user clicks on the page (even if its a link within an iframe) I can direct them to a specific page. If its easier to make it specific to iframes only, that would also do. I hope i've been clear enough! - TM Hi there, you might remember me from this thread. (which was resolved by Mandarin, thanks you!) Now Im back with another, kind of the same thing: "Click -> Locate page -> & then slide down?" Allow me to explain: So ive got this header.php right. And the header file is included at every page. All the links in the header.. link to 1 file. (diensten.php) BUT, each link links to different areas within that file... So what I would like to achieve is that when a link in the header is clicked, it slides down to the correct page-area. Porblem is.... after clicked, is doesnt even go the right page. I think the smooth slider jquery-plugin is interfering someway. I already laid down the groundwork inside the header. Please have a look here. Would my wish be possible? Or should I just lay it to rest? Thanks. In a webpage, I have a link to a photo: <a target="_blank" href="myURL"> where myURL just points to a jpg image. When the jpg is presented, I'd like right clicks to be disabled. Is there a way to do this? I don't want right clicks disabled on the main page, just the target jpg. Thanks in advance for any help. Sorry, my title is unclear see if I can explain it better he ok when I click from any of the other pages to the menu page, the name and address (which is on every page in the same place) moves to the left slightly. the name and address stay in the same place when clicking to and from any of the other pages, its just the menu page with this hiccup. This happens both in IE and Firefox. Any ideas on how to correct this?? So, I'm on a page, let's call it index1 and I need to open index2 with index3 displayed in a frame on index2 (All from just clicking one link). The problem is on index1 there are many links that will all take us to index2, but with different pages (index4, index5 etc.) needing to be displayed in the frame on index2. How can I achieve this? I can't figure out how to script an image so that it slides to another area on the page when clicked on. For example, a logo that appears in the center of a blank page (vertical-align: middle), but when clicked slides smoothly to the top (vertical-align: top). Alternatively, it could be that clicking the image changes the vertical-align property of the entire table or cell. Either way, I can't figure out how to do this with a smooth animation. A fantastic example of this--where I got the idea, in fact--is the front page of tumblr.com, where clicking "Log in" smoothly slides the tumblr logo from the top of the page to the center. How is this done? I'm sorry if the solution is mind-bogglingly simple, I'm kind of a noob. But I've racked the web and I can't seem to find a script that does this. Can somebody please help? Thanks so much. |
