HTML - How To Get Rid Of Flicker?
Hi i just created my splash page and it is of an image that when clicked links to my myspace.
The image that i have used is in the middle of the page and if you click to either the right or left it creates this huge line the size of the image that flashes. It is the same type of thing that you get when your typing. for example its happening now as i post. The problem is only with firefox...when I try to click the link it starts to blink and is unclicable...well I figured out that when I place a small picture just below that div containing my swf it works correct.... well, well, but the other problem emerges when I would like to use second swf with transparency at the bottom .....well I would like to scroll the content like the entire page not an iframe or whatever , but I cant place there this workaround because it 1, doesnt work when its in a div 2, without div it is just an element and the iframe where I load my content aligns beneath it so it is off the screen.... Is there a problem using the background the way I do ?? Does also anyone know how to get rid of that flickering in firefox when I scroll content with images for example in "fotogalerie " ???? I need to display an image (size 1024x768) in IE explorer so when i hit f11 (kiosk mode) its full screen. Then I need that image to refresh every X seconds with out flickering on the screen. The file is a bmp and is about 5mb and only will be changed a few times a day by a program I wrote in Vb.net. It will write over the existing file so the webpage would pick up the changes when it refreshes. Codes I'v tried already: Code: <html>

However the first one flickers and the 2nd doesnt display in full screen. Any information or even pointing me in the right direction would help. I know almost nothing about java and html =x |
