HTML - Website Guest Acc't Confirmation With Email
Hi
I have created a form that allows a person to visit my website, create an account, and on confirmation, be able to post comments and upload photos . All this needs to be automated, sanitized and safe of course! my thoughts were to a) form collects and sanitizers user details (done) b) stores details in a temp database table c) sets a 2 day cookie on users machine c) sends email via FormMail.PL to donotreply@blahblah.com d) donotreply@blahblah.com auto emails return address with standard link (not sure how to do a dynamic reply) to confirm.php e) confirm.php checks to see if cookie is set, if not return error and clear temp table, if is set, add details to guest table, create userpassword and set a 2 year cookie with there userrname and password so they dont have to always sign in on return. does this sound like a good way to do it? many thanks Similar Tutorialscan somebody please tell me a code that will show my image link only when a guest is on my phpbb forum and it will disappear when they log in. I am making a T-shirt Builder so people can pick and choose wahat color shirt what text etc. So there is a page with all these options, then on the next page is a page that requires the customers personal details such as delivery name email etc. I want to make a confirmation page letting the customer know what they are ordering, where its going and how they are paying. Hi, I have a page that does some javascript calculation and put the result in a textbox. I want to have give the user the option the email the result to himself/herself. I saw something like mailto:xxxxxx but this sends email to the known xxxxxx email address. I need to have a link parents will click on which will take them to a webpage which will automatically register them. When I test it (on my Mac - sorry ... a real computer) it works great, but the parents of my students say the link doesn't work. I have my HTML page encoded, and I put Outlook on HTML mode, but when I send the email, the receiver still only gets a bunch of code, not the nice-looking HTML Layout we've worked so hard on. hey guys im after some simple help i think. i have created a .psd for a html email i wish to send. i have sliced it up to how i would like it and i created the automated html. It all show ok in all web browsers and most email clients but not outlook 2007, i know there is a lot of issues with this email client but just wondered if you guys know any way to work around it. If i keep all the slices horizontal then it all fits fine but on the vertical ones which i need it kinds shifts them over the right so there the while vertical lines running through the page. i have attached the code any help would be more then appreciated. I want it so people can send requests to me, without having to leave my site. Is that possible?
