HTML - Need Help With Proxy Site Please... Kinda Image Related
Hello,
This is my first post here, the site is great so far. Anyways, I have a proxy site and I submitted it to alot of top lists, which require you to put a piece of code to link back to them. Problem is, the little pictures take up alot of space and take a while to load, so I was wondering if there is a way to disable images for a part of the page, so that it will be lots of text instead of pics. (the image link has alternative text). Heres the site: http://www.redprox.com/ Thanks! Similar TutorialsK so I decided to venture into the proxy business. I work deskside support for a living but I haven't really done anything with websites since college and so I've got just a passing familiarity with HTML. Right now I've got a Glype script uploaded to the domain and it's functional but it's a php file and I'm not sure how to integrate it with HTML to make this a well-rounded site with banners and such. I'm guessing the php script can be pasted into html in some fashion but each time I've tried it doesn't work. Can someone give me a leg up? Hi, i am sorta new to HTML but I am interested in creating a simple site. I am using word to create my pages. However, when i tested something out, the links are underlined in blue. I was wondering how to remove this. In my document, the text is not underlined. I am able to edit the HTML through my host. Can someone just tell me what i need to do to remove these underlines? My site is yourfree.freehostia.com Heya all! This is my first post and I am struggling with a super easy problem. I have 5 images for a website. I managed to stick them together as a .index but its not the way I want it. I have the PSD file for this as well, but have never gone psd to html before. Anyways I just want the site to look normal, and be able to add text and images inside of the site which require it to be able to "stretch" vertically. Any help or tips or pointing me in the right direction appreciated. Thanks files attached Hello, I have a webstite under developoment. The website can give you much free silver at a game called BattleKnight. How it works: In BattleKnight you have a link to share. When someone click at the link you'll get some silver. My site is based on proxies and can click at links from several IP's. I used the frame from proxy.org. I looked at the source of the site and chose some proxies to use. Heres my test site:http://larspedia.webs.com/test.htm (I am NOT using webs.com for the real site, just for the testings). ///////////////////////////////////////////////// MODIFY: Please watch this video to understand better To use the test site you have to copy your link into the bar and click first at the first mirror, then at the 2nd, 3th , 4th osv... My question is: CAN I GET THE SITE TO GO TO ALL MIRRORS AT THE SAME TIME (then I can just put the link into the bar, then wait while the site loads all the mirrors) Best regards /gap Testing a new concept on our site, here is the test page http://www.victorylifecenter.org/tadtest.php You will notice an image on the top left corner, this is just a scrub image I found for testing purposes, but for some reason I can not get the image over the entire site? Also, wondering how I would get an image to move across the site? Thanks Pastor Hi, i just need some help finding the html to make a proxy browser. I want to make 1 like the following: w**.browser9.com w**.netunlocker.com Type in an address in the field and you can anonymously browse webpages, i would be greatfull if someone could help me achieve this. Another example is this: h**p://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://files.myopera.com/Idonotlikebroccoli/albums/3758/thumbs/noob.jpg_thumb.jpg&imgrefurl=http://forums.xbox.com/2/5985406/ShowPost.aspx&h=240&w=320&sz=18&hl=en&start=1&tbnid=OC6cVqwzswW4TM:&tbnh=89&tbnw=118&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dnoob%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN Google has a sort of browser at the top of the page so on any log files it would look like you visited google but your actually visitin another page through google. Hello, Could someone please help I have made a very simple site http://www.101.dentalcompanion.com I placed a <span> image to sit on top, it works when crome opens but in internet explorer and firefox the image does not open. Thank you ever so much. kama Hi, I am new to writing html but am learning. I would like to be able to include an image on the site I am creating I am currently doing this by writing this; <html> <head> <title>Title</title> </head> <body> <u>Here is the text</u> <img src="image1.jpeg" /> </body> </html> I then have the image i need saved in the same folder as the .htm file. When I load up the website my browser I get a small blue box with a question mark on it and an associated error described as "The requested URL was not found on this server". I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me out as I am sure there is just something quite simple I am getting wrong. Your help is most appreciated. Cheers!! :-) I am trying to add an image to a site that my company recently purchased. This will be the only thing on the site and I assumed it would be fairly easy... The code I have is: <head> </head> <body> <img src="gg_lightsout_teaser_web.jpg" width="1650" height="1275" alt="none" /> </body> </html> Anyone see the issue? I have not done HTML in a long time... Thanks!! I've found some help here already, so thanks in advance to the good folks that help us novices. I have just a couple that need addressing, but they're pretty important to me, so hopefully someone can spell them out. I'll explain them below but here's a quick rundown first: 1.) Wrapping text around a captioned image 3.) A pop-up text bar when a link is moused over. 1.) When I'm posting an image, a caption is almost always necessary. Here's the code I've been using for the image and caption: "<table class="image"> <caption align="bottom">CAPTION</caption> <tr><td><IMAGE LINK></td></tr> </table>" But when I post like that, there's a break between paragraphs to show the image, which disrupts the reading flow. I need a code that will let me post an image, add a bottom-aligned caption, and still have the story text appear alongside the image. NOTE: I've been shown the "align=left/right" code, but where do I insert that in the code listed above?? I've tried right before and right after the image source code, but to no avail. Help, please!! 2.) I'm willing to spend hours to learn this one. Somebody, somebody has to know how to do this one. It's done on this site! OK, here it is. You mouse over a post listing, and a text bar appears next to the cursor. In that bar is the first few lines of the person's post. HOW IS THIS DONE??? For someone looking to find new ways to boost hits on a news site, this is a priceless gem. If anyone knows how to do this or something similar in HTML, PLEASE let me know. Thanks in advance to each and every person who reads this, and a special thanks to those who take the time to help. It means much. aefattwotgm@aol.com Hi, My website sits of center on the iphone's. I need to add links to an image. The image is the highlighted silver bar in the screenshot. Everytime I make navigations i always put the text on template in photoshop but for this one i decided to put text over the top of the background image. How would i do this because everytime I set the <td> to have the background as the image so i can put text over the top, it just disapears. Also from previous experience html formats text so its single spaced, so how would i seperate the links out? I hope you undertstand me. The screemshot is attached below thanks. I'm messing around with Tables currently and for the life of me i cannot get the table to align directly to the top of the page. There's like a 10px space on the top. I've tried the valign=top or valign=texttop and nothing will make it touch the top of the page with out leaving a space. can some please tell me what i'm missing? I'm in the middle of designing my new portfolio in ASP.NET and everything works fine in IE7 but once I opened the site up in FF, I was horrified by the outcome.
