HTML - Postioning Photos On Web Page
I want to rearrange photo samples so that both are on the same line...rather than one photo below the other? I have tried to correct it. Any ideas?????

I'm trying to position a string ("Stuff" in the code snippet) a given distance (say 100px) to the right of the last item in a horizontal list, on the same line as the list. How do I do this? In fact the only way to not have a BREAK between the last list item and the string "Stuff" is to remove the WIDTH specificaton from the UL tag altogether, but then the string "Stuff" cannot be positioned a given distance to the right from the last list item--it just goes the default distance. Ipad. I am currently linking images with the following code. <a href="images/why/photo_large.jpg"><img src="images/photo_thumb.jpg" width="139" height="92" border="0" /></a> This links the tumbnails to a larger image in the same window. Currently the only way to go back to the original page is to click the back arrow in the corner of the image. Is there someway to make it so the new image is a back arrow? I would like the user to be able to click anywhere on the new image and it take them back to the original page. If this is possible any help you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated. Is there any way i can create a "frame" in which my photos, once posted, will be auto sized into the frame? Can anyone help? Hi I have designed pages for my site and sometimes they do not look like the design once the are placed on the site. What happens is all of the small images are lined up on the left side of the page whiile the larger images are not in the same order as expected. Does anyone know why the images are not staying in place and do you know what I should do to lock them in place? BTW: I design the site pages in Photoshop CS and import the layers into Golive 5. However, I have been requested to produce an html document to email to specific recipients in this format. Some of the html functions I need to use are not handled well by the Email client I am using (Outlook 2007), let alone where it is going. Therefore as a workaround I am attempting to email the html document as an attachment to my email, so that it will be opened in a web browser. However, I am having trouble, linking to the attached photos to the same email from within that html document. I have successfully, embeded the photos into the same email, using CDO 1.21 (from MS Access VBA) and <img src=cid: etc. However, this does not work for the attached html file. Any ideas on how to refer to them from within the attached html document would be greatly appreciated, even if I am going in the wrong direction. Thank you. Hi, Background: I have a small page that need to be embeded into a bounch of other html pages. Help needed: 1. Please provide the html chunk that I can use to embed the small page in to other html pages. 2. Is there a way of not using iframe? Can I use <Object> or <embed>? It looks something like: http://www.htmlforums.com/attachment...1&d=1242556560 I noticed that many websites they code those horizontal scroll to go to next/prevous page. For example Discuz! forum system has this function. While you browse hundreds or thousands of posts separated into pages, the horizontal scroll can take you to previous page or next page.(not browser back/forward) How do I code like that? Or any examples? I believe in thread titles that get to the point. I have a basic page, when the page loads I want people to see the top of the page for a few seconds while a flash starts to load but then I want the page to scroll down a bit so the visitor can see the flash load progress status. I just want code that I can copy into my page. I don't have access to the flash code. He helps me when I get stuck but he's on holidays. Any help would be great. Below are the two sites I will use to explain my problem. For reference, I used Mozilla Firefox 3.08 and Google Chrome 1.0.154.53 in my tests. Example 1: http://www.irishbyname.com/example1.htm Example 2: http://www.irishbyname.com/example2.htm When browsing the site in a browser other than Internet Explorer, example 1 and example 2 center to different locations on the page. In example 1, I set the height of the content area to be 200 px tall. In example 2, I set the height of the content area to be 500 px tall. When I have example 1 open in one tab and example 2 open in another, I can alternate between the two tabs and see a visual difference in alignment. The HTML code on both pages is exactly identical with the exception of the height of the content area. Can anyone tell me why the horizontal page center changes based on the height of the page? Can anyone tell me how to change my HTML to make certain the page centers correctly no matter how tall the page is? Thanks for your help in advance.
