hello people, I checked the other day how is easy to have a slider with html5 and how great looks, but I was wondering how can I use it to control the font size or color of the font or background. I use already the font size option for the user to my blog's posts but with javascript and by clicking on two images (plus, minus). A simple slider would be perfect but I cant find on internet how can I get the values from slider and feed the size or color. I only found one tutorial on html5 slider which just prints the number on the slider.

I am not an excerpt so any help will be much appreciated.

I have an HTML SELECT on my page, the default size with which it shows fields in the drop down is too large for my page.

Do you know a way for me to make the text in the drop down fields smaller?

Is there a good css I can use as the style?

I want to sell some stuff over the internet like cloths....

And I use Pagseguro (Its a brazilain thing, like paypal). So, I have this wordpress site, with pagseguro plugin installed on it.

To add products on my posts I use the following code to get the Add to cart button.

On the options there would be the sizes for my clients to choose. And on the "ADD TO CART CODE" (the first code on the top) on the "PRODUCTNAME" part would be a PHP or something that would gather the clients choice and add it there. So when he press the button the product he chose would show on the cart with the size in parentesis. Like this:

So I'm rather rusty with html and building a low budget site.

At www.cccathens.com I have a background image set to a particular width

well at www.cccathens.com/about_us I'm not using the same background image. But I would like the same look as far as having the white on each side.

Is there a way to set the background color of the page so it has the same effect?

I'm just wondering how I can find the code to change for the background color of my site. Someone else designed it, and they have left the project so I can't ask where it is.

How to set width & height of background image ?
Since generally we set background image for anything like table, div tag etc.
but i need that the image size is very shot while assigning as background image so how can i manage this width & height ?
Please tell me that how can i do it bcoz I am not able to resize it by css also.

OR

Whenever I put any image in background then it must show me full image not a croped image whether cell size is low or very high...Generally it crops image or sometimes it repeats image 2 or more times.
Since i know i can stop the repeating image but I want to know to put the fully image in cell / table / div etc..

I am a new member of the forum. It is very pleasant for me to be in this forum.
I read in the HTML for Dummies book and see the instruction of creating a background for the Website:

"If you like backgrounds that provide a veritcal band down one side, you can create those backgrounds by making very short (just a few pixels) and very wide (at least 1280 pixels) images that look like a cross-section of the background effect you want. That image, after you tile it, produces aband down the side of the monitor"

I don't really know how to do the background like the instruction above. Can anyone give me some advice to do it? Thanks a lot.

My webpage is centered, the unused side panels (underlying background) are mid-grey. I would like them white but cannot remember what the code is, or is it CSS which I do use

When I load just a picture into the frame, just simply a jpg as a link into the frame the background is black in mozilla/ff but white in IE?
Any suggestions?

I have a question i am fairly new to the HTML scene. I am opening up an online store and have purchased volusion as my shopping cart. I wanted to change the background to a different color, but i just want the background not the entire background even the layout that is in front of the background is changing. I have gone into the css file to change it and it is not what i am looking for.

Can anyone out there give me some advice on how to do this. I hope i made myself clear on what i am asking for. If not feel free to let me know and i will elaborate more.
