HTML - How To Eliminate Blank Spaces Before And After Links
I used the "clear pixel trick" to put space between some links (see code below). It works, but the thing that bugs me is that a blank space remains at the beginning and end of each link (except for the first link, which only has a blank space at its end). This looks a bit sloppy to me and i'd like to get rid of these spaces. Does anyone know how I can do that? I designed a simple html page. The goal of the page was to place a YouTube player inside graphics that make it look like a tv....sounds pretty simple right? So I built a bunch of tables and graphics 4 times and still am getting the same results! Random spaces appear and distort the page. I'm about to launch my PC out the window! The distortion appears to happen on IE & Mozilla but not using Google Chrome. Below is a graphic showing the page and the 2 spaces that appear randomly. Hi, I have a fine gray line around the logo. This is not the border of the table it’s the gray bgcolor. I and other HTMLers try to find the reason of this bug but failed. Can you help? Thank you all! www.movehumanityforward.org I've been writing all of my HTML in notepad since I started, and Id really like to keep it that way, but the browser seems to treat line breaks (in notepad) between elements as a space character in certain instances. For example, say I have HTML Code: <img1><img2> <img3> <img4> in the browser, that will render every image on the same line, but with a physical white space between img2, img3, and img 4 example: [1][2] [3] [4] in the past ive just sucked it up and put everything on the same line, but in larger projects that gets messy very quickly... any input that i'snt "use something better" is appreciated, thanks. |
