Is there a way to have a div that is a page? Like a iframe does but instead of a iframe, and div? Thanks

i want to get a code which open new page in new window like some ads sites when the webpage load . like onload tag .
but all of the scripts use popup and activex control for IE doesnt allow to open automaticly .
how i can find a way to load a newpage automaticly without this warning .

In TXT file I have HTML code and I want open that TXT file in frame as an HTML file.
Is it possible and if it is then mybe someone can show me an example?

i want to make it so it opens in a another window instead of the one the person is using.

I do not know wethre this is the right forum or not so pls. suggest me the right one if the answer is negative.

The problem I am facing is that the home page of my site (in fact I have noticed it with many of the other sites as well) shows a blank page when I type the URL in IE. But when I press F5 Key (refresh the page) the content displays fine. Also it do not show the blank page everytime I type the URL and browse. Its only in 2-3% cases when I see the blank page . I am really clue less as where exactly is the proble. Is it with the HTML or the server, God know. Pls. help me with that.

This is what I want to do but I'm not sure how it's possible.

I have an HTML script that I want to run/show. But I want to host that script somewhere in DropBox or a hotlinked location on a server.

So ideally when the script runs it'd run a script to run the HTML script file in DropBox.

This is to be able to deactivate the script if I need to without having to go into the initial script's source. There will be alot of initial scripts with matching external scripts.

So logically it'd feel like this...

source code:

run script: server.com/script.html

then it'd run it. by displaying what the HTML says to.

Does this make sense?

Any help would greatly be appreciated. I'm sure this is an easy code to write.

If HTML can't do this, what can? I need an HTML script I can embed.

I had a weird experience today that I was hoping others might shed some light on. I emailed a person a link to a powerpoint pps file and it opened full screen as planned. I also placed that link on an intranet web page and it opened in 'edit' mode. How come?

Is there something I'm missing on code necessary to ensure the same URL opens properly and in full screen mode ????

The link was very similar to this where page code is concerned...

Might it have something to do with 'target' ???

I have made a flash button and added the following code so that when the button is pressed it takes me to a URL. I want to add/change it so that it doesnt open a new page when clicked, i want it to load the new page from the page im currently on if you know what i mean....

Hi, I just edited my index page but when i type the name to the website it still shows the older version of the index page... how do i change this? Pleasee heeelllpppppppppppppp

Is there a way (HTML, CSS or Java) to make an index page open automatically 150 pixels down from the actual top of page? Reason: I have a lot of cheap hosted sites with banners at top and it would be great if I could get the page to automatically open with the top banner scrolled off the top of the screen. OK, I'm cheap...... I admit it but I was thinking that it would be nice if this could work.....

Is there a way to create names of reports and place in a list box or combo box and select the report and click a button to open the report?

I also have added a link to a file ( that would be on the server) for the user to open the file, but I click the hyperlink the file does not open.

Hey guys, I'm brand new to HTML and am teaching myself. I'm right in the middle of studying and have run into a problem.

I've been working on my PC up until now but had to transition over to my Mac because it has Photoshop installed on it. I've been trying to open my HTML in Firefox but it isn't working. When I open with Firefox, all it does is bring Firefox to the front but doesn't open my HTML. I've done the same thing in Safari and it displays my code with no problem.

Does anyone know what is causing this? Thanks in advance!

Hello there, I have a html page that has links to files on it,, when a user clicks on a file it comes up asking for them to save, open or cancel. is it at all possible to add code to this line

<a href="ChainELinkClient\dotnetfx.exe" class="1">Install .NET Framework 1.1</a>

to make it so it will automatically open,, instead of asking for those options?
