this pop outscript that pops out at the left side of the screen when hovered on. Click here, see the button on the bottom left to see it working. Now, I just tested the site on a 1024x768 resolution and when hovered on, it shows but fails to create a solution for the small screen. ( a horizontal scrolling bar perhaps? ) It just pops up and only half gets shown. I have tried adding overflow:visible, overflow-x:visible, etc. etc. Frankly I dont know how to solve it, could appreciate some help. Thanks. Does anyone know of a font face generator that can convert a TTF or OTF font file into the 4 formats (woff, svg, eot, ttf), that's not font squirrel? That site only supports English fonts with a very low file size limit, and can't convert any foreign fonts. Already tried http://onlinefontconverter.com as well, doesn't work either as I waited like an hour then the server simply deleted my uploads without so much as an error pop-up lol, and now the website is not responding. This is for usage in CSS using the @font-face function. Thanks. Hello, When I try to set a font in HTML it works, but if I set a rule in my CSS to set the same font, it doesn't. Here are the three things I do (not at the same time of course): <font face="Verdana, Tahoma, Arial, Helvetica"> ... ... ... </font> vs body { font-family: Verdana, Tahoma, Arial, Helvetica; } or even... body { font: Verdana, Tahoma, Arial, Helvetica; } Out of all of those, only the first can change the font in my browser...is this a CSS issue because, somehow, the browser has superiority over CSS, and HTML has superiority over the browser? I would appreciate input. Thanks. Hi guys, I have a bit of a problem! I have designed a page and got it going, BUT... on some screens it doesn't fit in the browser and others it fits just fine. When I say 'fits' I mean that everything on the page is in proportion, but is it too big for the screen so you have to use both the side and bottom scroll bars to see everything - on my computer it's all in at once. I'm sure there's a simple bit of code or something to sort it, but I'll be damned if i know what it is! Any way - here is the link... www.strictly-smokin.co.uk/index.htm Cheers, Michael thanks a lot? the footer is up with the content... I checked all the div's and they seem to be fine, another set of eyes may be able to figure out whats going on... works fine on this page: http://www.pzfantasyfootball.com/testing/ messed up on this page: http://www.pzfantasyfootball.com/tes.../twoworlds.php if the question is: Your objective is to send a POST header to this script. I do have a slight problem, and I'm not sure where to look. I have a .swf file that is using a lot of bandwidth right now, mainly about 4GB of bandwidth a day. I don't mind that it is using that much, but I'm thinking why not put some advertisement links to try to make some money from showing this thing all the time. The link to it is, http://www.mypcgeeks.com/screenclean.swf It's a little pug licking the screen and people are getting a kick out of it, which is great, but what I want ultimately to be done is instead of going just to the .swf, to possibly redirect, or even add just a advertisement table above the .swf Suggestions? If I make a table that is 100 x 10px and type inside it, if there is too much text it will stretch the table until all the text shows inside. I want it to just cut off everything that is bigger than the demensions specified. Hi, this is kind of a weird request but I don't know where to look for it. I want a small slice of window that exists at the top of a page. It has to be big enough for a 100x600 advertisement. But here's the catch, it has to have a "close" feature, and when the user clicks close, the small window slice will disappear. this is while the small window exists: this is when they click "close" Do you know how to do this?? please let me know, JC Ok well I'm coming up to the finishing point of the new Phinfever site, and I just have a bunch of small issues to deal with, mostly with IE. Was wondering if you lovely people here would help me out. 1. The footer text alignment. See this thread: http://www.htmlforums.com/css/t-alig...xt-106876.html 2. Making the text in the sidebar <h3> tags invisible. The CMS doesn't allow us not to put text in the header, as a result I've set the font-size to 0, which should make it invisible... however in IE you can see small dots of white. Is there a work-around for this? RESOLVED 3. The pagination gets cut off at the top in Internet Explorer. It looks fine in firefox but for some reason the top border and a few pixels of the box itself get cut off. I think that's about all I'm having trouble with right now. I'll use this thread if anything comes up. If you see anything else, be sure to let me know. Thanks! http://www.phinfever.com/newsite Hello Ive got a bit of a problem which is really doing my head in trying to figure it out. It could be related to a script ive just used to produce a small slideshow/gallery, or could be to do with the tables. Ive highlighted the two areas with a red box in the attachment below, the main problem is the yellow line in the top left corner. on the other pages its not there... I noticed that there is a gap between the top page and the design of the site (which isnt meant to be like that), the whole design should be a little higher. Ive also attached the site code, im hoping someone can look and apologies if the code is messy (which it may well be..) thanks for any help Can someone tell me why the image isn't zoomed all the way to its max when clicked on? You have to click on the zoomed image to get it to its max dimensions. Why does it do this and how do I fix it so it will max out in a separate window when you click on the thumb? I don't know how to write this Javascript stuff myself. Click on any image to zoom piratesholdem.com I'm trying to put in an iFrame in the center from which the rest of the site revolves, but even though it appears, it doesn't fill up the whole box/cell.
