HTML - Unidentified Code!!!!!!!
Hello. Today i started up a project as a test, to see if i could accomplish something. I took some HTML and chopped some parts off untill i isolated what i wanted and had it working alone by itself on a webpage. Towards the bottom (i had everything figured out) i noticed this weird code that came AFTER EVERYTHING (even </HTML>).
So i deleted it, saved, everything still worked fine. I've seen this code pop up elsewhere but never worried about it, but i'm interested now Here is the code: Code: <script language="JavaScript">

I'm wondering if someone can tell me what this does and what it's purpose is. It seems to be associated with a missing image but isn't the typical HTML missing image symbol. The image is actually there but so is this symbol. Does anyone know what it means? All I'm doing right now is writing my code in text edit, saving it as "test.html", and dragging and dropping the file onto Safari/Firefox to view my code. Everything works when I'm at my college's computer lab, but when I'm on my own mac notebook, the files load in the browser as my code. What I'm trying to do is make a drop-down menu that will be used as navigation for a section of a website and I want to have it in each internally linked page in that section, but I'm going to be adding more pages to it over time so I want to be able to put the drop-down menu code in a separate text file and then substitute it into the pages that I make that the options in the menu link to and then just edit the code in the text file when I add another page so that I don't have to go back and edit the code every single individual page whenever I add a new one among them. and lead them to win there only NBA title. Robertson was inducted into the <br/>

your help greatly appreciated not sure if im posting this in the right place.... but is there a code... javascript perhaps... to prevent the browser from printing? I got some code of a tutorial for an image slider, and I used NotePad ++ to edit it with my images and links. But I don't know whats wrong?!? It won't load.
