HTML - Adobe Golive Crisis ! Text Boxes Are Expanding?
I hope this is in the right spot. Well I'm really loosing it becasue I think I wasted 4 hours on a webpage that I'm going to have to do all over.
The problem: I spread out a grid, then filled it with text boxes. Well it looks great until I upload it to the Internet, because all of a sudden I have huge gaps which spread it out, creating huge breaks within the document. There is code before this which stores the music file. My problem: When i put the mouse over it, the music plays but the image doesn't change. Sometimes the data in one of the cells fills up and it messes up the formatting of the rest of the table. I would like to have the table show a "...." when this happens and then when the user hovers his mouse over this then I want the remaining data to float over the table. Somewhat like a tooltip text. I have some pages put together, but I am looking for something a little different (like everyone else - ha ha) I am looking to possibly add a simple flash component and to get some GoLive pointers with regard to loading images or perhaps utilize a slideshow. Cheers, Joe Hi I have designed pages for my site and sometimes they do not look like the design once the are placed on the site. What happens is all of the small images are lined up on the left side of the page whiile the larger images are not in the same order as expected. This happens when I post my site onto google or any other site that allows html. However, it looks correct on my web site. http://dnorwood.com/FLYERS.aspx. I can only assume that I need to lock the images in place. However, I can not figure out how to do so. I have tried anchors, with no luck. Does anyone know why the images are not staying in place and do you know what I should do to lock them in place? BTW: I design the site pages in Photoshop CS and import the layers into Golive 5. Hi All, I have come across a scenario where user enters credit card number. So I need to display user typing text (card number) as "*" in the text box. So I went and coded as password field since password box always mask user inputs. <input type="password" name="f1" value=""> But on hitting submit button, Mozilla firefox browser shows a pop up if I need to remember the password or not. Ok, you know how you can drag the mouse over any amount of normal text and the text gets that blue border around it. Try doing the same with an input box and you can only highlight the text of one input box at a time. How can I highlight the text from multiple form input boxes at once? Hello there. We are right at the finish line of being done with our site. We are one of the biggest Youtube Optimizers on the net. We are the ones that get your videos to the top We have just been building a whole new site. Ok Basically it is set up to where there are multiple packages for the user to order. Each package they can pick how many videos they would like to have optimized. I have started with this script but i'm lost. I'm a software developer not real deep in html. All I am needing it to do is if you pick 1 for 1 video only 1 text box appears. If you pick 4 for 4 videos only 4 text boxes appears.(The text boxes are for the user to enter in there Youtube Video url) And of course if they enter in 9 text boxes 9 will appear. The problem right now is it doesn't matter which number you press all 9 text boxes appear. I'm sure this is something very simple I am just not experienced in javascript if statements. Hello all, I'm a newb at html, just started some basic coding last week. I've made my first site, though as you can see, the images and text (even if it's a placeholder right now) aren't lined up, and I'm not sure how to tell it to do that. My current Major is Integrative Media which web design falls under but none of my professors know anything about coding. I've probaly wasted 10 hours alone on trying to center the page with the drop down menu's. I am searching for an experienced person in Adobe, HTML and a few other codes to help me(Small reward might be given out ^_^). I've spent like 50 hours on this and gotten nowhere. I've searched the internet indepth for answers but I've had 0 success. Here are the lists of problems I have. I made drop down menus in Fireworks. This has been effecting how I can center my whole webpage. <Div Takes aren't working> Ive trade Align="center" in the DIV tag. Styles Margin Left Auto and Margin Right Auto didn't work. Even if I could center the page it wouldn't help cause I don't know how to center the JSS file with the page. I'm trying to find an easy way to move around flash tables. I don't wanna use padding(for reasons I can explain). The only way I've seen is to cut your webpage up in photoshop and leave spaces for the Tables. I am wondering if there are any other ways. I'm also trying to make news bars that Call titles from my sites forum. 0 Idea how to do this. I have more questions but don't feel like ranting. My assumption was that I'd have to go with Adobe. However, after reading a few comments on here, there are some who consider it to be too expensive given that there are other options out there which could also be better. I was hoping for advice from experienced people who could let me know if you think Adobe is the way to go or recommend any other software. The problem is in my situation is that when I put in a code in the CODE and it comes out in the DESIGN, it's screwed up. But when I view it in IE or FF, it's how I want it. That being said, I have to deal with dreamweaver not looking what I'm looking for but when I view it in IE or FF, it's how I want it. Help?
