How can I filter the file to be uploaded from the brose dialog.

In particular I have tow buttons upload image , upload txt. and

How can I make sure that when I click forImageUpload in the browse dialog only image files(like *.jpg , *.gif) are listed or shown.

So I'd like to have a 160*600 box with hyperlinks displaying only a headlines I select. I would like the bottom of the box to have arrows for navigating between sections of links that fit in the box with a place to enter a page number in between them. I would like it to begin with displaying the most recently posted links starting on the last page number with that being the first page it displays.

I want the bottom of the box to include below the browsing chronological browsing feature an arrow facing left with the word "search" that would open a box with a place to type in text for it to search link headlines. At the bottom of the search box I would like an arrow facing down with the words "search by label". Yes, I would like to not only select a headline for each link but also categorically label them.

If I could also select images for it to automatically fill the empty space with when a new page number is started that would be great, even better if it selects ones that fill the most depending on how long the headlines are. If it repeated headlines in extra page space instead of showing images that would be cool too.

I'd also like it to automatically expand in height past 160*600 to make a new page number just for a headline that doesn't fit in 160*600.

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to this whole html/web developing community and I got a few questions. My most important question is:

1. Would it be possible to have a button(like a type=file) that browses directories only, but instead of uploading them, just displaying the path as a text, so when my script picks it up, it just reads the text?
EDIT:
What I'm talking about is very similar to this thread, but i just want them to upload path so when the script emails the data, its just a link to the path on the local server




and my other question is:

2. If a user enters data in a text area, like i am writing in this, when my script picks it up, it does not seem to get the newlines at the end and just displays it all on one line, is there a way i can go about fixing it so that it gets passed(or even converted) to exactly how the user entered it?
EDIT: I've tried using wrap="physical" tag but I've been reading and some people say that it doesn't work..any suggestions?

Sorry if i posted this in the wrong location.
So im a real estate agent making a website. Im no pro and most of the stuff ive been using to build has been through layouts/generators/help of others such as yourselves. So ive been stuck on finding/making this code for the past couple of days.

So all my listings are on my agencys website, not my personal agent website. Is there a code i could have where in the listings page my my personal agent website, i could have a window maybe 600x900 of the listing page on my agencys website? To kind of clear things up, you know how when you google something you have the magnifying glass, how it gives that preview. How can i have that preview coded onto a webpage, but me say what webpage to preview and how big to make the preview box?

Tried to explain it as best i could. If you dont know the code, if you can tell me what its called so i can try to narrow the google searches. So far everything that has been coming up in the search restults has been preview boxes to preview html codes you have already written. Fail Blog

How to change caption "Browse.." of file field?

I am creating a website that has a search button with an image. I would like to know if there is some simple code that I can include that would display the same basic image with a different color when the user mouses over the button.

how do i make a background image fit to the window. also i have a button on a page. how do i get it to close the window uppon clicking it. any help would be great.

I'm a novice compared to the pros here and stuck on a couple issues. My website is uspsrealty.com
There is some "empty" space on my home page below the horizontal line. I want to remove the horizontal line and have the ability to use that empty space without throwing my borders/margins off. I would like to add about 3-4 sentences in that blank area. Can this be changed so I can add a few sentences? I know why this is happening, just don't know how to correct it.

Also want to change the copyright.jpg to 2010 from 2009. Might as well make up a few more jpgs with the years 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015

Hi, i have a problem im not sure how to go about it .

I have a webpage where the user enters there personal details . As they are fillign in details they click a link and another webpage is opened ( keeping the orginal open ) Where the do some other stuff on this new page and what is created is a javascript array of numbers I then want them to be able close this new window down and the javascript array data will be submitted with the rest of the personal information when the click a submit button on the first page .

If this makes sense how do i go about this?

I've done a search on here, and have spent the last week or searching on google, I'm currently building a webpage up which integrates a forum, i want to put a feed on the home page of the site of the latest topics from the forum.

The feed address is: feed://guitarprojectuk.forumotion.com/feed/
and the actual website address is: http://www.guitarprojectuk.com

I've tried a few on google, and non seem to work, not sure wether its the feed or something i'm doing, so can somebody help me out?

I have a project right now, but when I have finished the project, i'm wanting to recreate my Minecraft server website. But I have a question...

I see websites that resize theirselves depending on the screen size.... How would you do this?

I know of the % in css, but would I have to use that in each of my divs instead of using px?

I have always used tables to layout my sites bt now everyone is telling me that I should use css instead. I am not sure how to do this in css so would somebody please explain this to me and an example would be nice too!
