HTML - Weird Scroll Box
i need a code for a scroll box that when you put a code inside like <img src="www... and so on it will show the code and not the image or anything else i put it...i just want it to show the code

I've set up a test site for a project where I have a scrollable table within an iFrame. Techincally, its an iFrame within an iFrame which gets you to a scrollable table I also added an auto-scroll with anchor-links. Everything finally works, but I really want to remove the horizontal-scroll bar that shows up, while keeping the vertical-scroll bar. Can someone help me please. I wanted to use pngs for my website because I like the transparency feature and it is a better format than gif. I applied the alpha hack so that it would work in ie 6. But I get weird results when a flash movie is playing. The png image shows up and they are cut out but an "x" image also shows up under it like you would see if an image doesn't load. It doesn't happen on any other pages, only the ones that have flash movies. Please help me out Okay guys, here's the situation. Basically, everything looks as it should within FireFox on my page, however IE brings me weird troubles. Upon loading the page at first in IE, it usually has some stranger extra space around the border, you'll see what I mean when I link it up. However, upon a refresh it looks as it should. What changes in a refresh on IE? So I temporarily just set the java popup window to be immediate, which auto-refreshes the page thus making look as it should. I don't know if this method fixes the look for everybody though. I'm scraping some websites and I've come across a site with a weird link structure. The <a href> shows a relative link, but that relative link added onto the current link does not equal the absolute link I see on the bottom of my browser. If I want to make a robust web crawler, how do I detect that a certain site will have such an abnormality? Hello, I've got a weird problem that I've never come across before... I've created a page with a hidden div on it that is displayed at certain times (after a button is clicked). The div is displayed on top of a semi opaque div that covers the whole of the page (this is created and added to the page when the hidden div is shown). The effect is very similar to the lightbox technique. To prevent select boxes showing through the opaque overlay in IE6 I'm also using an iframe shim. The only problem I have is that in FireFox, the text input fields on my lightbox div do not have the flashing carat in them. You can select the inputs and enter text into them, it just looks a little odd not having a carat in them when they are selected. Anyone else come accross this? Hi, My Problem is with ie6 only I have a Menu with Mouse over that changes the background color. I have 6 different menu Home-About-partnership-findadealer-becomedealer-faq-calculator but here's the poroblem: calculator appears twice in the page and in the source code it is there only once. What I'd like to start with is a little quirky problem that only seems to effect IE6. When users try to highlight text, odd things happen. Here's one person's attempt to explain it: Quote: This is the pattern: Highlight works on the page displayed on the screen (either main page or each entry). The spot I pointed to before is where the screen display ends on my initial main page load. Once I click on each entry, highlight works on the text displayed on that initial screen - it stops working (starts highlight blocks) once I scroll down beyond that initial screen display. It seems to repeat this pattern with quotes, comments, or just entry text - just beyond that initial screen. Hope it helps. I believe this highlighting issue has to do with my use of css positioning. So note, we have a div called "overall" whose position is set to "relative" which functions as a container for all the other divs with position set to "absolute." I'm figuring there's something about this that gives IE fits when highlighting. What do you think? Edit: My apologies. This probably should have been put in the css forum. I have xhtml on the brain I guess. Please feel free to move. OK so i have a form on my website that im using to upload images. But i have a very odd bug. I am using PHP to process the data and im using an if(isset) statement to check whether the page has been submit. But when i another line of java to the onclick event the page doesnt submit correctly HTML Code: <input type="submit" name="send" value="Upload" onclick="javascript:switchMenu('uploading');this.disabled='disabled';"/>
now it will submit the data but the PHP code wont work o_0 does anyone know how to cure this? (sorry if my explaining sucks ) website- http://webtvdeluxe.com/home.php It's not really a problem but an annoyance. I just set up my page so it is html 4.0.1 strict. I don't have any errors or anything. Everything is viewed perfectly on a windows computer(no matter what the browser as far as I can tell). However on a mac I get this problem.... If you have a mac, use safari or firefox to view the page. At first glance, you will say "Well what's the problem?" The bottom of the middle table below fashion expert should be the bottom of the page. However the page continues further down alittle bit. If I didn't have those tables in the middle filling that empty space, the page would still be that long. For example, on one of my pages, I only have one table in the middle but my page still scrolls down right to that spot. Even if there is no content to push the table down that far which is the weird part. Has anyone ever encountered this? Is this possibly a bug with mac browsers? Is there maybe a fix? Hey, I've just recently up-loaded a new site i have put together, and i'm having a wierd problem with some of the images on the site. Whats happening is that when i view my site, some of the images don't appear, i just get the right hand corner red cross box. And a friend of mine who viewed the site had exactly the same problems, with exactly the same images. But two other people who viewed the site had no problems with any of the images not showing! The other wierd thing, is that i will have an image which works on one page, but then won't work on another page, even though it's exactly the same image file. This is only the case for one image which i'm aware of, all the other images which aren't working are consitant throughout all pages. I have contacted my hosting company and they have mentioned it's most likely something to do with my site coding. I don't understand what i could have done to have made this happen though. If one image works, the others should too... or so i would have presumed. All my images are in the same image folder and they are all either jpg or gif files. My website is feedthefitness.com i hope it's ok i mention it on this forum. I think it would be good to be able to have a look at the site to see what i'm talking about. Any ideas of what could be the problem would be greatly appreciated. I've tried up-loading my site a few times and it's made no difference. Thanks in advance. Wzup Got a little issue on my site. is showing everything great in firefox. IE is a little off but i'm still working on that. but in safari i doesn't show anything.
