HTML - Textarea Wont Work With Legend

hi there,

I am using this technique: http://www.smoothdivscroll.com/

im in a fairly complicated situation, if you take a look at my site here

you will see a set of 4 images aligned neatly... well, they need to scroll to the left, slowly.. we just need to get the scrolling to work. Later on I can customize the options myself. I think the scrolling is failing to start because a lot of scripts are already loaded.. maybe there is a conflict somewhere?

I dont know where to look to be honest.. could someone point me in the right direction?

Hey guys.. its been a while. Hope everyone has been well. Anyways I'm trying to help out a friend with their site which is located at http://www.centerforholistichealth.com Anyways if you look at the left most column near the bottom with the form for signing up for the monthly newsletter is you will see a legend/fieldset box, for some reason the box is coming out of bounds. Anyone have any ideas on how this might be corrected so that is stays within its bounds.

Does anyone know how to put (or if it's possible) form buttons into the legend of a field set? I tried searching but not really found much.

The following snippet resulted in the text for the legend and the button from the form residing just inside the fieldset and not actually in the legend it self. The border of the fieldset then remained unbroken around the content of the fieldset:

It's really annoying because the page would look pretty damn neat if I could get the button in the legend.

Cant figure out whats wrong here. When the page is loaded, the legend doesnt appear on top of the form like it should. It displays itself inside the form instead. Suggestions?

can i use fieldset/legend out of the form with an image in the "legend"? it's ok and validator says so but i wonder should i realy use it?

I have an FBML page.

I want to have a TextArea box according to the Browser.

If IE ---> Use TextArea_A

Else ( all the rest FF ofcurse and the smaller once ) ---> Use TextArea_B


You got the point what I'm trying to achieve right?! different textarea box according to the browser..


So does anyone know a way around this ?

Well i am creating a website for a college assignment and i need some help please. I want a div (or anything else that might work) to go in the space shown in the pic.



I have tryed aligning a div right but it doesnt go into the gap i want it to, also normal text wont go there eithe.

As you can see, im using XHTML 1.0 transitional, but aparrantly it isnt valid

I can't get the DIV to change size. I know I haven't put 'Width="" height="" ' but that doesn't work. It's strange because usually I would've thought that would work.

now as i understand there are CMS to do just that. but how do i apply them. could you help me or guide me to a very layman's tutorial or something on CMS. Thanks.

How can I limit the rows inside a textarea? Im not talking about limiting the visible row.
Example I want to have 99 columns and 20 rows only, how can do that?

i know this is prob somethin simple but iv tried everythin n cant get the image to display......

i no my code is right, its got to do with the actual pic, i have the right file type(gif), i have tried resizing it, saving it under diff file types by using gif converters!!

but nothing seams to work... and yet the other pic's beside it work!! originally it was a micro visio diagram....

when i load the page into IE the normal gif,jpg images work. but when i right click on the image thats not working and go to properties its says not associated!

plz help
