HTML - Including Header File Using Html

hi I need to know how you would create a header that simply just displays a picture . Can someone please post the code on here for that ?

Ok, so basically, I have a website with a lot of pages.

I have made a top menu bar, which goes on every page, and a copywrite notice for the bottom.

I was wondering if its possible to maybe put those in some kind of external file, which will make them appear on every page, like a CSS file, so I don't have to paste that onto every page.

The reason I asked, is because sometimes the menu is gonna change and I don't want to have to edit EVERY page of my site just for that.

And if it does work, could someone tell me how to do it? I tried <header> </header> and <footer></footer> in a CSS but they didn't appear on my page, and yes, the page calls the CSS file correctly, because the styles still load up.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

What I want to do is add the image (the one in the background) and put it in the header above the navigation links (home, products, etc)

Just having a black background and the image on the header as a kinda banner/logo centered on top of the navigation links

I am creating very simple Adsense websites for novice programming moms.
I have my tables set, I need a header to display Google Adsense within one of the top tables on all 80 pages of content. In PHP we refer to the process as "Calling". I need to call the header to each page. Frames won't work, have to use tables.

I would like to make a header that contains the Adsense info, so when there are 80 pages of content the newbee mom programmer doesn't have to add google adsense separately to each of the 80 pages. Its difficult enough to get them to do it once without saving the template as a .txt file. If I can just write the instructions so they can open 1 header file, pop in the adsense code in a large open area then save it using a html ext. it will be a life saver. Then I just have to explain ftp - wish me luck.

(I am use to hacking up PHP scripts, sad to say I hack well, I program badly.)

The header and footer can contail , the company logo, Title of page and so on.

Hi, I'm trying to include one HTML file in another. I tried iframe and was displeased with the results, I want the size of the frame to change dynamically and not just scroll. Fair warning, my knowledge of JavaScript is non-existent >_> .

Basically, I have a document written in HTML (please don't suggest a wholesale re-write, that's simply not practical) and the idea is to have one file where it makes sense to include it several times. One thing to mention, this document is not meant to be shown on a web-server, but in a browser while you're reading it off your hard-drive.

Hi ,I am new in html.Hope you can guide me step-by-step on this.
I want to import my .txt file into the html form and the html form can add new item then to be add in to that particular .txt file too as well. can this be done?
For example:
(fruits.txt)
1.apple
2.banana
3.orange
Can this fruit.txt be impoted to fruit.html page and show it at fruit.html page, at the same time, the fruit html page allow to add in new fruit, and once user add in new fruit, the fruit.txt file will be updated as well.

I have a website where I want to make a drop down menu that will bring you to different pages. It is a very basic, sort of old-fashioned website that relies entirely on html. What I'm trying to do is make a drop-down menu that will be used as navigation for a section of a website and I want to have it in each internally linked page in that section, but I'm going to be adding more pages to it over time so I want to be able to put the drop-down menu code in a separate text file and then substitute it into the pages that I make that the options in the menu link to and then just edit the code in the text file when I add another page so that I don't have to go back and edit the code every single individual page whenever I add a new one among them.

Basically all I'm asking is how I can put html code in a text file and then substitute that code into an html page by referring to the file. Thanks in advance for any help.

I am new to writing html but am learning. I would like to be able to include an image on the site I am creating I am currently doing this by writing this;

I then have the image i need saved in the same folder as the .htm file. When I load up the website my browser I get a small blue box with a question mark on it and an associated error described as "The requested URL was not found on this server". I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me out as I am sure there is just something quite simple I am getting wrong. Your help is most appreciated.

I have a file SVG that displays on the page like this: see page.

But as you can see the image is not reduced to the size you want, it's just a part of this size.
I wonder how we can define the size of a SVG for a given page (as can be done with <Img /> ) ?

I would like to konw is there any way we can integrate an IFRAME much like an asp or php include file.

For example:

The Iframe has no borders, the iframe would have no scrolling, width is 100% of the cell it's located in, 100% height of the cell it's in, and a transparant background.

We would also like it so that the conent is displayed throughout the cell of the iframe string - rather than it breaking in between.

Do you get my idea?
