HTML - Advertising Space On Sides
Hi There
I Was if someone could please help me with the design of this website. It started off as a template and i have edited and changed things as i have learnt. I would like to offer advertising space on each side of the page but it keeps leaving about a 50 pixel gap between the banner and the page !! If anybody can help me out please. Like this site where it has a banner at the top and one at the bottom. Also how can I make them cycle through a list of them randomly. Hey guys, I customized a table & banner to include a 768x90 advertisement, and it looks fine (tested in Firefox & IE8) in the file I created: http://www.sidelinescouting.net/index7.shtml However, when I try to transfer this header to the main pages, the banner doesn't align anymore. Here's what it looks like when I do that: http://www.sidelinescouting.net/index-bad.shtml There are 3 things I notice: 1) 768x90 is misplaced, obviously (in both browsers) 2) Navigation drop-down raises higher, too close to banner, which may be a result of #3 he 3) Image starts to repeat (Copyright disclaimer shows up twice, should just be up top) Any help is appreciated! Hello, For ages I have been trying to figure out how to add sides to my table, however I can not figure it out, please help. Basically I want side added to the table on this page of my host. - If anyone could help me that would be great. Thanks. Bear with me as I'm not that good at this HTML stuff! OK, I've started a website from a free template I found on the net and what I want to do now is run some 125 x 125 images down each side of the page (like this) but I can't work out how to do it in HTML or CSS. Currently there is a spacing in automatic between. Turns out a "space" at the end of the link text pushes the text upwards slightly. Simply remove the space (or add on to the other line) or use the space code [ ] The css also plays a part, this doesn't appear happen when text is "unformatted" Hi Experts, I am facing some problem in the row spaces. This isn't merely an attempt to sound like something from "The Matrix", but I'm continuing to work on my companies website and for some reason in IE when I place a picture at a certain place the web page give me enough room to scroll the page right. (There isn't anything there, it just has a scroll bar at the bottom and you can scroll the whole thing right leaving it half off the page looking at just background.) P1 page is smooth but P2 page is not. Hare is white space at the uper side and lower side of the images. How to remove this space? Please Help. Hey everyone, I'm working on this page http://www.executivetravellink.com/flights-test.htm. I have included two seperate very basic tables that I don't want much space between, but as you can see on the page, something is going wrong and there is a huge gap in between the two tables. This only seems to happen in Internet Explorer as Firefox automatically fixes the problem. If anyone can figure out a solution for this issue, it would be much appreciated. another but otherwise identical. The thing is, no matter how much I double check for slight differences in the html code, the calender on one page has huge spaces between every three months. Say you have a footer div(or any other div for that matter) and you want say 3 links and a copyright statement, by using the Design GUI in dreamweaver not but working directly with source, so for examaple in your div you have, copyright 2009 coolffdesign contact us friends links etc........... Now if i put the cursor directly after say 2009 and try and add more than one space then i cant i can only add one space so the best i could have would be, copyright 2009 coolffdesign contact us friends links which i obviouly can't use as it is unreadable... I am asking anyone who is a pro at web developing to help me out! Problem I am using loadVars in Flash, from a *.html file. Mainly because the server does not support PHP and because in HTML I can have comments. I am spacing out the text like so, for readability: &variable1=value1 &variable2=value2 &variable3=value3 etc. when I do the line breaks, the HTML page automatically encodes whitespaces. I need an HTML tag or possibly CSS or Javascript that will get rid of all the whitespaces. Or if it is possible, as I was looking on w3c.org, there might be a text/content type or url-encode type that will do this, but haven't found one. If anyone has any ideas, I need them. Again, I am trying to remove all the whitespace in the ENTIRE page. |
