HTML - How Do I Use Onmouseover To Change Text?

Here's what I need to do:

I have several variables that I want to assign to various spans within a page (i.e. customer_name, customer_address, etc.). Now, I am going to have more than a 1 span that I dynamically need to assign the customer_name to. But I want it to be able to do so without me having to name them all "customer_name1, customer_name2, customer_name3" and then having to go through and manually change each one, one-by-one within the function.

What I'd like to do is ultimately have the function loop through every span with the name or id of "customer_name" and change the innerHTML within it to whatever the value of the costomer's name variable is ("John Doe" for example).

I've tried a few ways, most of the time it only changes 1 instead of all of them.

Can anyone help?

at the moment the text is white and the background of the data area in the form is white too meaning people can't see what they type in. can someone please help so that they can see what they are typing in?

Here you will see a picture of my Red 1961 Chrysler 300. By the way, it is nearly perfect as well as beautiful. Below the picture is a button that when clicked, the picture changes to the next picture in the series of pictures.

I want to beable to change the bulleted text when the picture changes.

2nd, I want the text at the bottom of the screen to beable to be changed.

3rd, I would like to beable to have a switch in the code that I can set so that only 1 of the two text areas will change and the other stay as is. On a car application, I would leave the bulleted text as is and only change the text below.

Probably there should be 2 seperate switches that can be turned off or on.

I have one customer (advertiser) that wants the bulleted text to change and have no text at the bottom.

Can anyone help me.

I was wondering how one would change the colors of text in a google advertisement.. I'm lost as to how it would be done..

Here's the scenario.

There's a heading on the page that says "Latest News". This might say something like "Next event is 4 May".

Obviously on 5 May, the text becomes out of date. But it would be OK if the heading changed to "Recent News"

I want to make it so that when i rollover a link in the menu, the link changes from its english text to italian. I know for a fact that it is possible to alter the properties of the links inside the menu when i inserted into my <head>:

I am putting together a website for a student group and realized a big problem. The site is a 3 column style, and the bottom half of the left column is "Latest News". I just realized that in my current setup everytime I make a change to the "latest news", I will have to make the change on all of the many pages it is on. Is there a way to make a "latest news" text file and just have that content accessed from each page so that I will only have to make changes to the one file and have it show up on all pages? I have tried searching for this for an hour but just can't seem to hit the correct keyword that explains how to do it.

hi there. i made a website for somebody years ago when i knew nothing about html. the code is absolutely crazily bad and i am looking to revamp it.

i know how to do the layout but its the buttons i am struggling with.
what is the best way to make the buttons around the outside?
i only want to use one image for all of the buttons and then have text on each button that also chnages colour on hover, pretty much how it is now but what would be the correct way to do it?

I recently put a comment box on my site and it works well,except when the users start typing, it's black text on a black background. How can I make it white text when they type the comment AND where you input your name? Obviously, if I want white text where you input your name, I'd like to know how to make that text box black as well?

<p>No matter what rookie sensation Aaron Brooks did Friday night, it seemed Rajon Rondo was there to mirror him.</p>

The Celtics held Houston to just 39% shooting from the field, due partly to the efforts of defensive-minded player Kevin Garnett.</p>
<p>"We kept everybody intact for the most part," Garnett, who scored 15 points in the victory, said of Boston's defense. "It was just a collective effort. We needed that with a team like this."</p>
<p>Ray Allen continued his post-All-Star break dominance as well, scoring 3 three-pointers in just 4 minutes after Houston tied it at 52. Houston would then miss 5 straight shots, helping the Celtics strengthen their lead to 72-62 to start the fourth quarter.</p>
<p>"Executing offensively, that's been our Achilles' heel, when we've been bad," Allen said. "With bad offense, you put teams in transition, and we don't give our defense a chance."</p>
<p>Luis Scola and the newly-acquired Kevin Martin scored 17 apiece for the Rockets, but Pierce's back-to-back three-pointers with 5 minutes left in the game stretched the Celtics' lead to 88-77, queuing the fans to start exiting the arena.</p>
<p>The Celtics will hope to continue their run and win their fourth straight game as they will visit the American Airlines Center to take on Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks starting at 9 P.M. on Saturday.</p>
